Periods are completely natural. Nothing to be ashamed of.
Do you usually have a hard time with your period? It sounds like maybe you should call the blood people and make sure nothing is wrong. Do you have a fever at all?
It is snowing really hard here. I'm a little worried.

No, I normally have anemia, and my iron is usually borderline but since I'm a universal donor, as long as it's borderline and not actually under they usually take my blood. So I was down some, and now I'm down more and I just get super dizzy/fainting spells. No fever. Just the tiredness and the headaches and the fainting bits.
Snowing hard as in blizzard conditions, or as in black-ice conditions?
