Really? are you going to try and pursue it? I've loved cooking since I was little as well it helped that my father was a great cook too I was never unhappy at meal time or if we went out to eat he had great taste :mccute: My mother and grandmother contributed too meals were never unsatisfying.
In both of my schools they taught it because they want us to know all aspects of the culinary and restaurant worlds.

That's wonderful :mccute: it's good that the classes broadly covered everything, that allows freedom to explore other areas for someone who isn't sure what they want to specialize in and even if one does one might find that they find some other area interesting. And such a broad knowledge will help if someday you're not only a pastry chef but also own your own pastry place; you'd be comfortable managing all the aspects of it :mcgrin:

I love good food but I'm afraid of fire :mcheh: I really do want my own control over what I eat though because I have IBS but my whole family obviously can't change their diet for my sake. So I'm going to try my best to learn in the holidays after I'm done with exams.

Luna- I am still considering it, all depends on money and if my boyfriend and I can find a school near us that I can go to, but I would love to, and he'd be happy of course lol.

Ah I'm sorry to hear that Ambar. IBS is really annoying to have. I hope you are able to find good foods that you can have. I know it can be tough. My ulcer is finally letting me eat good food for once, but I have to be careful.

Hi Kira~

Good luck on that :mccute:
Ugh, yes :mcargh: I just want to get rid of it somehow. I hate that it's a long-term condition that can last forever.

Ya that is the problem with issues dealing with us down there. Ugh they are your best friend for life and one lil thing you do, bam! I hate you.. It's like I didn't mean it, please forgive me!!! I used to talk to my stomach when I first got my ulcer and then got so paranoid about food that I would break out crying. Now I can handle alot more, mostly my chocolate and caramel foods so I am happy. Just have to watch how much I eat at times... But who wants to becareful eating chocolate and caramel for heck sake? LOL

Worst is when you don't even know what you did wrong :mcargh: like I tried to find out which foods I'm sensitive to but I literally can't find ANY pattern.

:mcgasp: That is really bad. Had that a couple times. I usually just take a small bite of one thing, wait a few seconds then try another bite of it. Then wait a few hours to see how my body reacts. That usually helps for me and researching my ulcer also helps. Like I keep forgetting I need to read up on if soy sauce is ok for ulcers or not so I know I can go to a chinese restraunt with the BF.

Irratible Bowel Syndrome Kira. It's annoying and I know I spelled it wrong ; ;
