Well, it's Tuesday so you know what that means! Some random state will be deciding the future of Western Civilization! Again!
I feel like we have way too many primaries on way too many days. This feels like the billionth Tuesday I've spent watching election results trickle in, and there aren't that many Tuesdays in a year. This whole system is fucked.
Anyway, here's the Pwale Election Day Run Down.
Today we are in Indiana, a state that is being described as a make or break moment for Cruz. According to the pundits, he NEEDS to win Indiana.
I mean, Cruz NEEDED to get more than zero delegates in New York. Cruz NEEDED to win double the delegates he has. He's already mathematically ineligible for the nomination, so best case scenario for Cruz is he wins and lives to fight another day. Worst case scenario, he loses and continues fighting for all time because he's made it very clear that he's not giving up. I mean, 10% of Florida voters thought he was the Zodiac Killer (28% were unsure, leading to the 38% number you might have seen quoted in the media) and he didn't give up then, so I don't think a paltry matter like being ineligible will stop him.
Plus, this just in, Donald Trump just declared on national television that he thinks Cruz's dad helped assassinate JFK.
