Is it ok if I ask some questions in here about knuffels and quests? Do the wearable element items come from knuffels, or are they items that come from someplace else. Like Air gen 12 hair...did that item drop from a knuffel when you're digging?

And do the quests change out every so often or just stay. I noticed that I can only see the ingredients for one quest at a time and only when I've activated it. Is there a thread somewhere that shows all of the quests available and the ingredients needed?

If the item has "knuffel" in the name, it comes from leveling wild knuffels. If it has an element in the name but not the word "gen" it comes from digging on candy island with elemental knuffels. If the item has "gen" in the name, it's a fairy coin item purchasable in the treasure trove, past or present.

Dunno about the quests.

I believe they change out once a year, and they just changed out a month or two ago so you have some time. Though as far as I know, in order to dig up the items, your knuffel has to have a dig score of 100? Which if you level them up in their chosen element, will be around level 90 ish x.x

You don't need to have maxed the digging score to find the item. It just makes it easier. :D

As for the quests, there is no list anywhere which says all the ingredients needed for each quest, because a lot of it is random/variable!

There is a list of all the quests (or was, I do not know if it is 100% current), and it says the things that are known about ingredients listed (For instance: 1 Angel Tear, 1 Mermaid Tear, 6-15 random rares, 20-80 random average, 100-300 random prevalents. Or whatever).
But it can't give you exact amounts.
I can try and find it somewhere...


The nice thing is, quests are not limited-time. So if you don't have the stuff right away, no worries! Just keep digging and trading, the quest will wait for you.

100 isn't the max digging score if you level the knuffel in it's chosen element. And I had asked about that, whether that was the only way to get them or if it just helped, there seemed to be some debate.

Anyhow, I found a Darkness hair extension with a lvl 32 knuffel. So you don't need 100 points either.
Now I admit, the knuffel in question actually had enough XP at the time to be maxed, and I hadn't gotten around to levelling it up yet (wanted to use the digs quick before rollover, didn't have time to level first and THEN dig), but I'm pretty sure that would not have affected things.
