I love mushrooms

Sometimes when I'm in a hurry I'll pull out the slow-cooker to make a mushroom soup (I realize "slow cooker" is the opposite of 'hurry' when it comes to immediately eating, but they require less time investment for a meal for me, so when I know I will not have time to make a regular meal one day, then the night before it's easy to just throw things into the slow cooker).
There's an Asian Foods store that stocks a number of canned, fresh, and dried mushrooms, so it's simple to just throw in a variety of types and a splash of white wine and maybe a clove of garlic, and then next day there's a tasty dish...
Should really do that more often, not just when there's no time.
