Well in Sydney, to get anywhere fun you'd have to drive and by that I mean national reserves, anywhere far into the country, the water park or beach. Although public transport is possible, it's almost double the time by car ;-; I've been learning to drive and I'm not that great tbh.

I really miss trains in Japan.

LOL PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Doesn't come out this far. I'd have to drive for at fifteen minutes to get to the furthest stop of the nearest one, and that one is contained to that town
And at that point I might as well just drive the rest of the way

Yep. The ships are HUGE. It's almost impossible to comprehend unless you're around one.

Yep. And you could order as much as you wanted. Well one night required fancy dress but the other nights just required closed shoes and pants. But lots of people just dressed up anyway.

Everytime you say thongs I think underwear first, flipflops second. lol.

I suppose. Grownups like swings too though.

So far away from everything. Poor thing.
Maybe you could get a bike? I don't know. Might make life a little easier.

Oh yah? We have to drive a bit to get to a lot of places but there are plenty of restaurants around close. And a couple of parks that aren't very far.

Our public transportation succccks.

Considering the amount of hills around here, biking is not much faster than walking. Sometimes slower

That's lame. Maybe a mixed one that is motorized and manual?

BIKES AND HILLS D8 What a nightmare.

Yeh a lot of people in Sydney do that as well. Drive their car/ride their bike to the nearest train station and park there. Some stations have enormous car parks to accommodate for that especially further out.

I think I know how large of a cruise ship we're talking. We seem to always have the Carnival Cruise ship docked into the wharf at Circular Quay so I've seen it plenty of times. It has a water slide on it which sounds like heaps of fun xD

Yeh sorry x_x It feels weird to call them flip flops and we call thongs g-strings.

For adults we have GIANT SWINGS. Nothing like lying on your belly as you yank a cable to your doom am I right?

That requires a motorcycle license
And to get that, you need a standard driving license first

I do want a motorbike tho

Do you need a license to ride a bicycle? o-o

In Australia it's really easy to obtain a motorbike licence.

If it has a motor, yes
Especially if you're going on the road with it
Like if you have a huge paved driveway they don't care. Once you're on the road you better have one

Ordinary driving license is being a pain in the ass for me to get. We're trying to find somewhere I can test where the tester isn't an absolute prick and fails people because they did what they were supposed to but not in the ye olde outdatede formatte the tester is used to that doesn't have a ten year wait time

I can't drive and there's no public transportation here. I am utterly dependent on others to get around. It's annoying.
