Didn't have a single Chansey or Porygon pop during the event... got enough Slowpoke candy that if it's used to get Slowking at all I'm all set.


Speaking of which. . . GENERATION 2 IS OUT!!

I got a pleasant surprise when I got out of work and Pokemon Go wouldn't start without an update. I expected the new UI and such...and then saw Spinarak and Sentret at the nearest Pokestop. XD

I was catching Sentret like mad cause Furret is so darn adorable...and then a Furret popped. I don't care that they're practically useless, the Rattata of Gen 2...I will catch every one I find.

Sentret was the first Gen 2 I caught. I've caught 14 and evolved 4 of the Gen 2s.

So far I have Sentret, Furret, Ledyba, Hoothoot, Natu, Spinarak and Hoppip.
I was catching enough Sentret to get a Furret when one appeared 2 PokeStops down from where I was. They seem to be almost as common as Sentret from what appeared on my map for the half hour I was out.

Saturday I should have more time to walk around and see if anything else is appearing out here in the middle of no where.

So glad I expanded my Pokemon Storage. . . it's still going to take a while to go through all the pink Pokemon I caught last week though.

And I like several of the new shirts for the females. Need the Team shirts at the very least.

update:
-level 22 now (yay)
-I have over 40 pidgies to evolve BUT turns out I can only evolve about 30 because I forgot we need 12 candies each lmao ><
-I have caught 7 of the gen 2 pokemon *yay*
-during the event I got a tonne of Porygon, I now have over 100 candies! (And before the event I hadn't even seen one!!)
-I "caught" a chansey ... BUT my internet disconnected just before it did the "caught" animation (It had the 3 flicks of the ball), so yeah, I was really sad

I have enough Sentret to evolve too, but I am going to try and find a stronger one!!
