I'm going closer to a large lake this weekend. Hopefully that'll improve my odds.

I've seen 2 Seel. I did catch a Jynx though! It was luck. I was the passenger in a car and had the game open and saw the Jynx pop on the side of the road when we slowed for a stop sign. Smashed my finger into the screen at light speed and managed to start the catch sequence before we pulled away.

I think I did the order wrong but I caught a typhlosion, then a cydaquil that i evolved into a quilava. Other then that I am using this event to get my Charmeleon the Charizard, ad maybe getting gold in fire.

I am super thrilled with the event y'all.
I'm going through pokeballs like nobodies business though. I need to aim better or something.

I got my ice-type silver medal today!! Only 150 more to go 'til gold!

I've got enough candies to evolve my Charmander, Cyndaquil, Ponyta (x2), Vulpix, Growlith (x2), and Shellder. I need more Seel and Piloswine.

i love this event, too. finally caught another lapras, and enough cyndaquil to evolve a quilava. i'm crossing fingers to find a vulpix with a better assessment than 'decent.'

l That's what usually happens to me during these events. I'll be catching everything I need to evolve and then the evolution will pop up, making it all moot.

I saw a Lapras on my nearby yesterday but it disappeared almost immediately because something spawned at a Pokestop several blocks away and the tracker wouldn't show it anymore. *pouts* They really need to give us the option to switch between checking nearby Pokestops and looking for nearby Pokemon.

Well I'm off today on an adventure, going to check a college campus and walk near the canal and see if I can scare up the few Pokemon I'm missing.

It's gotten so hot here that I really don't want to be outside walking (or hunting). I was hoping I could get my Mareep walked enough to finish evolving it (so I could take advantage of the XP bonus). I don't think it's gonna happen.

I didn't play much yesterday, was a lazy day but I am going to hard work on charmander later today

It is waaaaaay too hot and humid to go outside and do much of anything right now. I did drive to the nearest Pokestop and do my day 5 streak, but that was it.
