Someone on GameFAQs said to press the right side of the touch pad twice to skip it, that it is skip-able. I haven't tried it for myself yet. I'm streaming the whole game so I don't wanna skip much except the repeated Day/Night scenes.

The Mini Games for the loading screens can be turned on or off.. its an option..

Man, that was really quick. Lol. Hubs and I both play the same games and it takes us forever to get all of the trophies.

Hahaha xD It probably helped that I still play the original PS2 game haha I'm gonna order the Japanese Physical Disk next week probably... The Okami HD remaster for the western releases dropped the original ending "Reset" so to be able to hear that and see the original credits on the game, I have to get the Japanese version.
