Clothing sizes are so inaccurate. But then again, it makes sense, different people have different body types and at least in women's clothing we don't really reflect these in the sizes. Men's shirts get so detailed sizes with neck size and different arms lengths and different cuts that are clearly labelled...
We just need to try on all the clothes and hope that something has the right shape for us...

That really must habe been a traumatic experience ;) If it was just the straps, couldn't your mom just shorten them? My mom did that on a few dresses for me when I was a kid.

Hahaha, well, hopefully your disappointment will be blown away because you'll be happy to see him ;) But it's good to be comfortable on your own as well. I kind of enjoyed that I had days to myself this semester where I had no classes and stayed home, but my bf had to go to uni as well.

As a kid it was super easy, I never tried clothes on, I knew which size was fitting forme. Now.... I don't even wanna think about it :D

Oh, I haven't been to orsay in ages! We used to have one in my hometown when I was a kid/ early teen, but I think it closed at some point.
Yeah, as a kid, somehow most things just fit. It gets more complicated as you grow up, like so many things :D

Well, it doesn't hurt to start even before you are a mother, if you think you'd like to do it :) You can also fix some things about your own clothes or make your own from scratch when finding things in store just doesn't work. I've gotten a sewing machine for christmas last year - no wait, that's not accurate anymore :D 2016 - and since started to sew and I find it is a really rewarding hobby :)

@jacob: Well, even if we lived there, I think his glasses are beyond repair, the scratch is pretty deep and he'll probably have to buy new lences entirely ;/

Lol I was supposed to say "don't get too comfortable, then when J comes back you'll be pretty UNcomfortable with him" xD But then I read further I got that a few times, last time when the office I worked in closed up and I was working from home, first I was literally dying without Ash, then I would have great days all alone and I'd get suddenly pissed when he'd come back home soo... yeah, that's me But that passed now and I'm back to normal XD

My mom is a tailor, so she used to do amazing stuff, she'd fix everything. It's funny how I can barely sew up a hole in a sock XD

I can't say we've had a full night's sleep, but it was better
Today the girls are in my eyesight even more And Candy was desperately trying to get her food stick (can't really find the English name for it: https://www.google.pl/search?q=kolba+dl ... XKiHGu-1aM:) out of the cage with her, but it's too heavy and she keeps losing it on the shelves xD

I ordered clothes once in my life, sometime last year. I think in Terranova. Anyways, I shopped there before so I was pretty sure about my sizes. But one tank top was soo tight xD It only motivated me to start exercising, but I knew that's not really the cause, it's just a bit too small even though it's the same size as everything else I ordered But well, I manage to get in it and can breathe so still a win XD

@Chriz: Well, the crate was rolled up really tight, and it was pent up, kind of like a spring... So it basically sprang at his eye Terrible accident. But I'm seriously grateful it wasn't the eye, more and more when I think about it. This stuff is really sharp, I can't even imagine how much he'd cry if it actually struck his eyeball... (yes, he cried about the scratch... and counted how much his dad owes him while crying, because the glasses is a lot of money for him and he feels like it's the end of the world )

That does sound like it could have caused a very serious injury! Ruined glasses are a small price to pay for not losing your eye or eyesight, I think. Good that he was wearing them!
But of course it's understandable that it still feels terrible to him to have to pay for new ones. Is there anyway that maybe some insurance would cover some of it? I think my bf has his glasses insured somehow through the store he got them from, but I don't really know any details.

Ah, yeah, of course it would be hard to remember the details after so many years, jacob. I can imagine that depending on the material and the cut of the dress it might not have been so easy.

@Chriz: Unfortunately he had not had them insured, so... well. But there's good news! He only had to pay for the one lense instead of just buying both, so I'm super happy. He's not so much, but it's really cheap for not losing your eye, at least in my mind
