Sonic. I got a pineapple shake from there years ago and I wanted one, but she said they no longer use pineapples >>
So I got a chocolate shake instead.

I love most fruits, but I really love pineapple.

My mom's friend's daughter had a wedding once and they had pineapple punch of some sort and I drank like 20 glasses >>
That's why I got the pineapple shake xD

Oh. I don't think we have Sonics where I am. Too bad.

Pineapple is one of my favourite fruits. I also like apples. I also like strawberries but I think that's mostly because I love the sensation of dying from it. I'm allergic to it.

That sounds amazing. The only weddings I've been to just serve champagne and wine. Not as fun.

Yeah, they're not everywhere 8u
But they have good food.
Only problem is I get no onions on my burgers and yet it always tastes like onions.
My dad owned a deli and we cooked food on a large grill, so it was close together and it that's likely why it tastes of onions.

Awww D8
I LOVE strawberries.
I used to cover them in sugar, but I don't anymore.
It's like heaven when I taste a naturally sweet one 8u

It was just a little outdoor wedding at this famous house downtown.
I don't like going to weddings and funerals and baby showers and wedding showers and stuff, but I'll go if I can eat and drink and left alone u8

Aw. I do like the taste of onions. It's the texture of onions that I don't like. So that'd be awesome for me. Too bad it doesn't work out for you, though.

Right? We did put condensed milk on some once and that was good, but weird. I'm not used to it. lol

Best part of weddings! I don't like socializing at those places, either. It's full of people I don't know.

My dad says the same thing as you xD
But he'll eat onion rings just fine.
I know they have crust on them, but it's still onion o_O

I have something I never really told anyone...I don't like eating rice.
That's known, but the reason I don't like rice is...it disturbs me??
Like I'll eat rice with butter and sugar just fine, but I got the wrong order once and it was a burrito with rice in it. The thought of eating hidden rice disturbed me.
I don't want to be offensive, but it reminds me of maggots, I guess???
I know it's not maggots and rice is good with a lot of stuff.
But just imagining eating it in something disturbs me .__.
It seems offensive to say that since so many people use and eat rice, but it just instantly enters my head.
I don't do it willingly 8u

I've had peaches and cream before. I think canned peaches and possibly condensed milk.
It was really good.
My mom only made it once though <<

I've been to several funerals, wakes, signing the books, etc.
I prefer not to go. And I'm sure people find that wrong or disrespectful.
I usually will go and sign the book and see the person if it's open casket and or just to say a few words and leave.
When people die, their soul is gone. That body isn't them. I feel the same about cemeteries, but since that was my loved one's body, I still help care for their graves and desecrating graves is grounds for a thorough ass beating >_>
My dad has had a ton of dreams of being buried alive since he was a little kid, so he's getting cremated.
He told me he wants me to put his ashes in a thing that grows a tree.
That would be nice because he'd be somewhat living in that tree and trees can last hundreds of years, but if it dies prematurely, that will destroy me 8u
I COULDN'T EVEN GROW MY DAD RIGHT U,B

Deep fried onion is different! Anyway, I do prefer the oniony breading part more than the onion filling. Also, prefer the Burger King onion rings where they use minced onions in shape of rings? Less texture that way. Anyway, just because someone doesn't like something doesn't mean they don't eat ANYTHING with that ingredient in it. I don't like most spicy food but I love 떡볶이. I love the sweetness of the heat and the chewiness of the rice cakes. Also, I don't like artificial strawberry flavour because it reminds me of the foam things at dentist's, but I do crave strawberry milk from time to time. It's all about how it's presented.

Yeah, okay. I guess if you find something unexpected it's bad. Like the time my boyfriend ate... I think a ball of cheese? Thinking it was a chocolate pastry? He likes cheese or whatever he did eat but the unexpectedness of it made it disgusting.

Aw. Sounds like it would be easy to recreate.

Aha, that last sentence made me laugh. Sorry. But yeah. Funerals are creepy. And if you're expected to kiss the dead body, even more so. I don't think the dead person really cares. I'd rather no one come to my funeral. If people just moved on without really knowing I was dead, I think that'd be fine.

Well, it's more of they don't like the texture, but will eat onion rings with giant pieces of onion in them and there's still texture.
I HATE onions, but they make some stuff taste better.

I like cherry flavoring, but I hate cherries.
And the whole flavoring thing is weird to me.
They don't taste like what they're named after.
Banana candy tastes nothing of banana.
Grape candy tastes nothing of grapes.
o_O

The rice wasn't unexpected because I knew they got my order wrong. I tried to eat it anyways and it just disturbed me.
BUT I just remembered it's the same for these pizza rolls.
I don't like sausage on pizza and my aunt got the sausage kind.
They mostly taste identical, but knowing it has sausage and not pepperoni - it disturbs me.
I'm so disgusted by it and it fucks with me with every bite.
But they really do taste mostly the same.
xD

I'm glad my failure at growing my father made you laugh 8u
But I seriously had a succulent/cactus plant die.
I could never kiss anyone's dead body.
I couldn't even kiss my grandpa when he was dying.
I felt so horrible for not doing that, but I was scared.
Aki's dad died recently and she told me she kissed him and such.
Maybe it's because I don't kiss. EVER. Well, I'll kiss my cat's forehead. 8u
I also can't touch dead animals.
I've had to bury several dead animals in my life and to touch their bodies just horrified me.
Especially since they were stiff and cold.

I always see people wearing black and being sad.
I want people to come wearing what they want.
I want people in t-shirts and jeans and such.
It'd be the same for my wedding (I'll never have xD).
Wear what you want. Be comfortable. Talk, laugh, eat, etc.

My grandpa liked roosters so we took some stuff and put it on his headstone and hung wind chimes up in the tree he and my grandma basically FERTILIZED with their corpses.
Well, we went back and all that stuff was gone.
The workers said you're not allowed to have those things on graves.
But when we asked for our stuff back, they said they no longer had the stuff.
And boy did that get us angry xD
They do have a policy about stuff, but I see other people with stuff.
There's also a bench that's been over someone's grave forever.
And the wind chimes are way up in the tree.
You don't fucking take stuff off my grandparents' graves and tree they're under.
We ended up super gluing a rooster to his gravestone.
And if that gets removed, it will ruin the gravestone and they WILL pay for a new one.

I always used to and still do walk around the cemetery and look at everyone else there and pick up lost flowers and dust off graves.
I used to try hard to avoid stepping on graves when I was a kid and when I did it, I'd apologize.
xD;

Eh. The crunchiness of the batter overrides the sliminess of the onions.

Actually, banana flavouring is supposed to taste like Gros Michel bananas, which basically went extinct due to a disease. The bananas we get are Cavendish and that's why they don't taste similar.

Asian grape candies taste like grapes. I love them. :qh:

lol I guess it's just a little bit off that makes you creeped out? Like a non-native speaker of English whose English is great but slightly off. Or a robot that's too human-like but slightly off.

You know, I think cactus aren't as easy to grow as they say they are. Because I've killed many cactus plants, too. But I did amazing with a peperomia. And did okay with a venus flytrap. I'm growing mint right now and it's only been a couple of weeks but it seems to be doing okay so far.

I can understand that. I think we're adverse to touching bad things due to evolution weeding out that behaviour due to people catching diseases from touching things that had been dead for a long time. Also maybe the close-to-living-but-not-quite-the-same thing I mentioned above.

And meanwhile, I want neither a funeral nor a wedding. lol just leave me alone and live your life. lol

Maybe those other things were also superglued. But I did hear that graves are cleaned regularly and they only keep the items to be picked up for so long before they're thrown out.

Aw, that's sweet. I've gone to cemeteries regularly as a child growing up in Korea because of the annual death anniversary and honouring dead day and such but now that we've got no one buried here in Canada I haven't been to a cemetery in ages. It's so weird how the cemeteries are so flat here. It's hard to know where the bodies may be. In Korea, the graves are easy to tell apart because we pile dirt into a mound on top. You'd never accidentally walk over someone's grave. Unless you're a very small child who doesn't know any better.

8u
Well, now I can't unsee slimy onions.

>XD
Poor deceased bananas 8,u

I don't know about a lot, but I know the Japanese snacks that I've had legit say what they taste like.
I got some sweet corn things and they tasted 100% just like that.
It was weird. It felt like I was eating skinny hard corn o_O
They don't fuck around about that xD

I guess so. I know it's stupid, but it still gets me.
I even emptied all the rolls of the sausage and still couldn't eat them.
I know my dad questioned my Mexicanhood because I don't like rice xD

It's all a scam. To make you focus on cacti and not the real enemy :U
I went to Home Depot and still found no venus flytraps.
Maybe we're just not cool enough to sell them u,8

I remember someone saying we're made to be repulsed by the dead and they were talking about that because of Necrophilia.
They said we're hardwired to dislike things like that.

I always wanted a wedding. A creepy wedding. :U

I don't know. They didn't care enough to alert us and threw it away, but it was the fact they just took stuff off his grave.
It's akin to grave robbing to me.
That's not their grave or their loved one's grave.
And my grandpa and my grandma's corpses are feeding that tree.
We could at least leave a wind chime there.
>BU

You know, I was watching a movie earlier set in Japan and I always wondered why the gravestones look the way they do.
I know in Louisiana, or New Orleans, they have the caskets above the ground because of flooding.
My dad told me the town he's from got flooded and the bodies actually came out of the ground and had to be picked up and put back in the ground.
That's cool, though. It'd be easier to see there is someone there.
We pile dirt when they first die but then it gets totally flat.
Some people don't even get headstones but tiny plaques no one can see.

I actually love going to cemeteries and seeing the names on the gravestones.
We have some from like the mid 1800s.
They're really worn down so some can't be read.
I also love the headstones people choose and some places have really nice statues.
It's not really creepy but more like just a place for rest.
It's quiet and solemn and beautiful.
And like I said, our loved ones aren't THERE as their soul and such weren't just their bodies.
But I do know why cemeteries matter so much and why they should be cared about and taken care of.

My dad told me he's slept in cemeteries before.
I asked if he was scared.
He said "Why? Everyone's dead 8u"

I'm Mexican and I always loved the whole Día de Muertos holiday.
I've never taken part in it, but I love the colors and foods and the traditions.
My aunt, who is not Mexican, was bitching about Day of the Dead and saying it's horrible and negative and my sister doesn't need to enjoy it and shit.
That royally pissed me off because she has no idea what she was talking about.
She also did it when my sister was drawing fanart for anime because it had "ghoul" and "black" in it.
I stood up to her and told her it was anime and has nothing to do with the Creepypasta shit my sister got scolded for.
And what gets me is my aunt let her watch Child's Play a million times >___>

lol but they are slimy!

Right? I did read recently that they're breeding them to be more disease resistant (I guess a few cultivars did survive the disease) so I'm pretty excited.

Right? I like Asian snacks so much. We just recently got a box of Choco Pies (they're kind of like whoopie pies?) that has chocolate chips in the cake portion so I'm pretty excited.

Haha, do you like beans, though? When I think Mexican food, I think beans more than rice.

Maybe the weather's not right for those? I do seem to remember getting them later in the summer so maybe it's not quite time yet, either.

Yeah, probably.

Ooh, I saw this webcomic artist have a wedding where they dressed like monsters. That was pretty cool. Bride had bright blue hair and had like, patch-work make-up like that girl from The Nightmare before Christmas.

Well, probably couldn't call every single person whose loved ones are buried there when they go do their cleaning rounds.

I've seen the plaques. And I think we pile dirt on even more because those mounds don't really go away years and years after. Like, my grandmother passed away before I was born and her grave was still quite rotund when I visited last, a decade or so after she passed away. We don't do that anymore, though. Not enough space for everyone that way. Instead, I've seen that they cremate everyone and have their ashes stored in little cubbyholes at a designated building. Like a little apartment building for the dead. Not sure why they don't bring them home like they would here.

Haha, your dad's so practical. :qlol: My boyfriend said that he took his last girlfriend to a cemetery on a date and I'm so jealous.

Your aunt's odd. I love el dia de los muertos. I love pan de muertos, too. Very sweet. I should go to that Mexican bakery again sometimes soon. They're one of the few places that have tostadas up here and it's awesome.
