But isn't 10 in the morning 10 am? To me it would be logical that then 12 am is noon, since that is just counting up the hours? If you'd call it 0 pm, I could get behind that...

10am in the morning is in the morning

I am not sure why it is how it is but just that 12am is definitely midnight because I was born 12:05am and I say I was born 5 past midnight.

so from 12am to 11am is all midnight to 11 o'clock in the morning..

and from 12pm to 11pm, (I'm not counting to the minute, it's more rough on the hour stuff) is midday to 11 o'clock at night.


make sense? otherwise maybe world clock will have some info on why it is how it is?
