It doesn't but other things do.
I can get really nauseous and sick if I get too anxious and things like coffee and a lot of sugar make me sick.
But foods usually don't. And things like milk and ice cream and stuff don't.
My mom is lactose intolerant, though.

Yeah, I have to go. My insurance covers it as far as I know.
I've been before because they started me on Nexium for my acid reflux.

Like I said - I'm a good person. That's good enough for me. I try not to hate people, I pray every day, I do good things for others, I care about others, etc.
I see no point in trying to do stuff for the wrong reason or trying to be perfect.
I want to do things that make me happy and make others happy.
It's like my uncle mentioned - if you do good, but do good to just please God, then you're doing it wrong.
You do good things to help others. Not to be a kiss-ass.
Which is how I am already.

I think they're friends now. My mom tends to make friends wherever she goes.

Oh, interesting. I thought because you said anything irritates you after I said I haven't heard that spices makes bowel movements more intense that you were saying spices in food makes your IBS act up.

Hmm, I was taught that we do good in order to please God. That everything we do, we must do in order to please God, and everything that will not please God we must abstain from. And also to always strive to better ourselves because we aren't perfect and there's always room for improvement. I guess different schools of teachings.

Good. That's awesome. I want to be like that but at the same time, I'm scared that that might open up myself for being trampled upon. But sounds like your mom can make friends without being a doormat. I wish I could hit that delicate balance.

I always heard spicy food messes with some people.
But it doesn't do anything to me.
I enjoy it so maybe it's because I've eaten a lot.
But things that are too sweet and coffee get to me xD;

It's like you do good things to help others. You don't do it to gain favor from God.
If you only do things to help yourself, by pleasing God, then it's not really helping others and is an empty gesture.
Like if I see someone is cold, I'll give them a jacket or a warm drink.
I do that because being cold sucks and I want them happy.
I don't do it because "Look at me God! I'm doing something just to make me get into heaven! Aren't I good?"
I do it to help someone. Which God likes. So it makes everyone happy.

My dad is even less of one too.
They've both been through a lot in their lives.
They're pretty worldly and don't fear a lot of things.

I do hear that people who get married to those who can't take spicy food and stop eating spicy food for a while have a harder time with spice if they start eating it again, so maybe you have built up immunity to it over time.

But you don't strive to better yourself to gain favour from God, either. You do it because it makes Him happy, just like you'd do good deeds for others. To make them happy, rather than to gain favour from them. Striving to better ourselves makes God happy, just like giving a cold person a warm drink makes them happy, basically, is my understanding.

That's really cool. Child me would have gotten beaten up more often if I told them I was telling, though.

Is that something you drew, or something from that show? Is it Aggretsuko? I haven't watched it but my boyfriend likes it so far.

Damn. I guess dream currency doesn't go that far if they won't help you when someone's trying to kill you.

I don't think I've ever gone shopping in my dream. I don't remember it if I ever have.

The only issue I have is if something is entirely too spicy and I can't even swallow it xD

I got into a screaming match with my aunt AGAIN.
She slapped me in the chest and I shoved her and I told her AGAIN she treats us badly.
She eventually realized she's been mean and she hugged me.
She said she felt bad that day so we had no right to yell at her for treating us badly.
She also said her back went out and shit about how WE shouldn't start shit with her.
Funnily enough, when my back went out, she wanted me to help do yard work and made me help lift a heavy birdbath.
We're fine now, but I punched the door a lot and my knuckles are bruise and I have a huge gash there.

:qf: I'm sorry to hear that. Her having a bad day doesn't give her a right to take it out on you guys. In my opinion, that gives you all the rights to call her out on it. But maybe calmly and kindly. I'm glad she can at least see that she is being unreasonable, even if she's being unreasonable while recognizing it. Put some polysporin on it so you don't get infected.

I punched the door twice and the counter like four times.
I was hoping my hand would be worse.
It would have been satisfying somehow xD;

I really need a punching bag.
But the ones I found were expensive xD

The day prior, she had yelled at me and jerked something out of my hand like she always does.

I'm to the point where I'm sick of it. I've been nice. I've taken it for YEARS. I'm fed up.
So I yelled at her and we kept yelling and then she suddenly stopped and hugged me and said sorry.
