I'd love to have my own studio space when I get my own place. My room is really getting too small for all my hobby stuff. I need a big room!

so i'm a primarily 3d mixed media artist but i do everything under the sun
my practice is based largely on trying everything i possibly can
i was originally intending on majoring in fashion design but i had a huge existetial crisis when i realized i loved everything
i just do Art

Now I've taken up my brothers bedroom since he moved out but I still have too much stuff. Can't wait to move out TwT

largely yeah, my major goal in beocming an art educator is to make art as accessible as possible, because i believe everyone is creative and art has been put on an unreachable pedistal which is balogna
i consider everything to be art and i think its sooo easy but made so inaccessible because, as i say, capitalism ruins everything good in the world.
(i also want to go into education to raise a generation of critically thinking hell raisers :D)

it completely changed my ability to work having a space by myself 10/10 am reccommending

My mom won't let me get another mannequin for my cosplays as it 'would only encourage me to make more! You already have too many!' (I have 1 mannequin and a mere 3 cosplays, and one wip) and I can never really let anything sit or rest when I'm working on my pieces, my mom wants everything cleaned up asap.

I really need my own space so I can just have an atelier full of mannequins and materials lying in reach!

Mom please do you know how tiring it is to undress and redress a mannequin with multiple pieced/layered cosplays just to do some minor tweaks?? T3T

They're just extra bitchy without tim there to remind them to be decent human beings (and their attitudes are 100 perent why i didnt go into fashion)

Yeah i was also having a crisis over needing to do something meaningful with my life and it hit both of those hehe

i feel the cleaning tho i work in chaos and i need it when things get cleaned i have no idea where anything is

My parents are in the 'this is our daughter we love her but she has them weird hobbies' category. They don't disapprove of my hobbies but they don't get involved either. Save for my mom's complaints about the messes I make :D

So far I've made a full Hogwarts Slytherin uniform, A Red Pyro from Team Fortress 2, a Rakan from League of Legends and right now I'm working on a Transformers holomatter cosplay. I have varied interests c':

Personally I don't think I'm cluttered or chaotic at all, its just I usually end up working on the kitchen table or in the living room cause I just don't have any other space! And then my mom wants me to clean everything right up after I'm 'done working' so it stumps my creative process a bit to have to timetable/schedule everything in intervals :/

But soon I'll have my workspace, SOON

My mom has learned that I won't tolerate her moving my stuff, after I really did snap one time when she put all my stuff in plastic bags to clean up and completely missplaced some things or put stuff together that shouldn't have been mixed etc. She tends to clean up/reorganise things all on her own and then afterwards completely forget just where she put that one thing >>

I once ended up buying a new glue gun cause my mom missplaced it so horribly...
