papad is like super thin crispy-fried... uh. Not a cracker. More a tortilla? But not exactly... Not bread. Not crepes.
They're crackly and crunchy and often aren't very strongly flavored (although a lot of them have caraway seeds in), and...

Yeah, pretty much the same stuff, maybe a few slight regional differences.

As far as I can see. Maybe they're from different flours or something and are considered very distinct by connoisseurs? But as far as I can tell.... yep.
