Though my husband is very sensitive to horror movies and such. He gets scared so easily. It's kind of cute.
We only have like Kroger around here. I don't think I've seen any local grocery stores except for in the city. And those are usually Asian or Halal.
I haven't watched the show. I love the movies. I love them so much. lol.
I think that human meat is very similar to pig meat so if you know how to cook pork you will probably know how to cook human. lol.

I think that paganism is really making a come back. I know a few people who consider themselves witches and I live in Kentucky, part of the Bible belt.
I studies Biology so it was nothing too exciting. I miss the culture in Salem though. Its so accepting.

I've mostly been knitting blankets. I want to try making shawls or a cardigan. Then I just start knitting a new blanket instead because I'm self taught and my brain can't figure out how to read patterns. I want to try reading my book while knitting, but I need to figure out how to keep my book open while I knit.

I like doing embroidery while watching, but I do find that I end up not really watching because I'm paying too much attention to my hands XD
My problem is often finding something that I can watch on my own... there are so many things on our Netflix list that we added together, so when J is out, I spend ages scrolling trying to find something. I usually end up going for a silly chick flick which will at least occupy my screen haha. even if it's not particularly good, sometimes it's nice to have something like that which doesn't require concentration in order to follow the plot.

It's ironic that it's so accepting now. It's sad that it wasn't more accepting back in the witch trial days.
Ms_Zuralli - How do you read and knit at the same time? Sounds complicated. Wouldn't your hands be busy?
Rubie - I don't know how to read patterns either.
I've been thinking about trying to learn some stuff from youtube. I'd love to be able to make some plushies or so.
jacobgrey - That's why it's good to have something that you don't really have to pay a lot of attention to.
There are a lot of cool documentaries on Netflix. You could try checking some of those out.

Ooh. I want to try embroidery someday. I actually bought a lot of floss to cross stitch with recently. I also found out too late the pattern I made from an online cross stitch pattern maker cut off most of the design when printed. Haven't gotten around to fixing it and reprinting it.
I learned how to knit from various YouTube videos. I still should actually look up other things too like the right way of switching colors and tying off ends of skeins but I've mostly just been knitting blankets.
Oh I eventually want to try my hand at plushies too, but I've always seen people making those by crochet which I have no skill at all. I've tried 3 times but always somehow mess up.

It's honestly not that hard to read and knit at the same time, as it's the same guidelines as watching tv and knitting.
Me and youtube, when it comes to learning new techniques, don't always gel. I'm more of an instructional reader than a watcher. A lot of the knitting and crochet techniques I know I've learned from books or by accidental doings (like purling through the back loop or making button holes...).
I want to get into embroidery, but don't have the time or the craft space to take up another adventure. I already have knitting and crochet, sewing, quilting, dyeing, spinning, bead weaving, cross stitch, and resin/clay projects taking up the majority of my living space...You know, when listing them all out, I think I might have to drop a few...
Rubie- Try a cook book stand. I heard that some knitter's use those if they are reading physical books and not ebooks.

I love the look of embroidery and the idea of learning it but I don't think that I'd be able to do it. I have arthritis in my hands.
I don't know how to knit at all. I learned to crochet from my mammaw. Though it was a little bit difficult because she was left handed and I am right handed. lol. Also we didn't get very many stitches down. I was busy doing other things I guess.
I don't know why you wouldn't be able to knit a plushie. Maybe the techniques would be different but I feel like it should still be possible.
I feel like I would have difficulty reading and knitting at the same time. I generally can't do anything else while I'm reading. It takes all of my focus. Maybe because I'm ADD? Who knows.
They have so many books on crocheting and knitting. I bet they have free patterns and stuff online as well.
Oh man, that is so many hobbies! Are you proficient with most of them or just dabble? Maybe one day you can designate a room or two to crafting.

@Light I don't really like documentaries unless they're true crime. And J likes those too so we're back at square one XD
You could probably do embroidery if you took it really slow, but it would be painful still I guess. I get really sore hands cuz of my fibro but I love it so much I do it anyway XD Once I did like six hours of sewing when I was behind a craft stall and that was waaaaay too much. Ended up with my whole body aching cuz you don't realise how much goes into it XD

@Zuralli: What kind of dying do you do? I'm guessing yarn since you spin too? I want to try and get into that but I'm afraid I would never have the time. And I like to hoard yarn. I have so much yarn and I just keep buying them because they are pretty. (I do have plans on making shawls and cardigans from them eventually)
I have never thought about a cooking stand. I would have to figure out how to get it set up without it being knocked down on my reading chair because my dogs always jump up and down and play whenever I read.
Oh that does remind me I bought an introductory book to knitting, where I got the current knit stitch I'm using for my blanket from. I should go find where I put that at again.
If I knit too much in one day my hand hurts real bad. It goes numb with sharp pains. It's probably a lack of blood circulation in my hand. I tend to take little breaks now when I start my hand going numb and stop pressing on like I used too.
