those algae eaters do the same time, they just suck at the gravel constantly lol.

Yea the palco.. whatevers.. I called them suckerfish >w< loved mine when I was a kid..

thing is.. they'd eat the marimo apparently QnQ which is why i have to go for certain shrimp or snails for tank cleaners.

Earlier one of the marimo decided to float a bit and it got stuck in the roots of the ivy! the way it moved it was like it was trying to get out of the roots... then it did! it got stuck in the waterpump current and was just going up and down up and down >w<
