From The Book of Questions by Gregory Stock.

Question #107: Would you like to have your rate of physical aging slowed by a factor of thirty so as to give you a life expectancy of about 2,000 years?

Do all humans benefit from this? Or just me?

If it is just me, then no. I do not see the value of such a long life if I do continue to suffer the losses of loved ones. It's almost the eternal life question, which would gain the same answer.

As much as I want to live a long time, I don't think I'd be happy seeing all the death that I'd see living for 2,000 years. And I'd probably struggle with new technology more and more to the point that I'd have trouble getting jobs or doing pretty much anything in society. I'd probably have to be a hermit in a cave.

I would love to be immortal and if I couldn't, I would accept this offer.

It's terrible because your loved ones will die before you, but on the otherhand, think of all the things you'll see.

A world of fragile things
Look for me in the white forest
Hiding in a hollow tree (come find me)
I know you hear me,
I can taste it in your tears."

Definitely not. I wouldn't want to outlive my son and everyone else that I love.

No, simply because there's more bad and ugly in the world than there is good and beautiful.

I'd say yes for the hell of it. I want to see and do everything.

I mean... I don't think so, since my body already kinda hates me a bit.
if it came with stuff that could help to make aging slower more enjoyable, then maybe? but I'd take that with normal aging too.

Yes, but if it was that way for everyone only. It would be lonely being immortal

I would, because who knows where we'll be in the next 2000 years, in terms of society and technology? Plus, that's more time to travel and learn, and to grow.
