well some fish are really smart too lol. and some are just dumb goldfish pffffffft.
i still remember watching vids, where someone stuffed a snake into a mud hole and went fishing for catfish lol. it was CRAZY.

o-o okay... fishing for catfish using a snake...

yup! because catfish usually hang out in mud holes, someone used one of those corn snakes/pythons and fed it into one of these holes. the catfish, scared of a predator like a snake, would literally swim right out of the hole and straight into the fisherman's arms.

Always caught my catfish from the lake near my house... i swear that was all that lake had... the big colorful fish that one man caught... that was an illusion >:x he was a lie


x-x just redid the 1.5g tank.. I didn't wash the sand right so it's been gross and cloudy all day so I put in my spare small sponge filter. With in the first 10 minutes it started clearing up.. getting the damned thing in there was the hard part. =A= all the plants kept uprooting.

I am gonna get some more cholla wood, shove the stems in the damned wood then bury it once the big tank gets here >:x fkthis shiz

Catfish are mud dwellers which is why some people don’t like to eat them because they eat mud and they’re very dirty. Still watching someone fish with a snake is interesting.

Woke up this morning to all the plants i planted in the 1.5g tank were floating >:x

I give up on 'planting' them.. I'm gonna do what I did with my barebottom tank and stick their stems through cholla wood holes then plant the cholla wood =w=

Floaty plants! You could always get those small aquarium basket planters lol.

If they won't stay in the substrate in the tank, they won't stay in the substrate in the planters in the tank! X'D



I'm sooooo pissed off right now...

Last week I called and asked if Pet Supplies Plus could special order my aquarium for me. They said yes. (well.. i wanted a 33g long but they couldn't order that so I ordered a 40g breeder) The man told me it would be in the store with in a week.

Well, it's been a week and a half, I can't remember if I was suppose to call and check in on my order or not, so I did anyway. The lady told me they don't do special orders, that the only time they get 40g breeder tanks is during their 10$ per gallon sale and that won't be happening until May or June.

She didn't ask my name or any information to even CHECK to see if there had been an actual order placed or not! D:<

So either the order HAS been placed and this lady is just stupid, or my order hasn't been placed and I have to wait another month or two for the sale.

2 good points of waiting:
-My filter media as more time to seed.

-The 10$ per gallon sale SHOULD lower the price of that 40g breeder... >->

the reasons I don't want to wait:

-my plants. I have them in a small 1.4g tank which is only good for short time quarantine! DX I was told I'd have my tank sometime this week so I bought everything I'd need for it including plants! They help with the nitrogen cycle and stuff so they were needed to be on hand when the tank arrives. I've no room for them in the shrimp tank due to the filter media being seeded.

-Filter media is taking up a lot of space in my 5g tank, and I'm worried my shrimp will get stuck inside one of the media rings or something. Hell I haven't even seen my Ramshorn snail Dude since i started seeding the stuff.. and it's been harder to clean the tank like this! D:<

-Money. If I leave the money for the tank in the bank account, mom will end up spending it on crap. If I send it to my paypal to keep it safe, and they had actually ordered the tank, I'd have to wait 3-5 days for the money to get to paypal, then another 3-5 days for it to go back to the bank. =A=

uggh... I need a proper fish store that keeps tanks in stock year round... who the fk sells fish and doesn't keep aquariums for the fish to go in? D:<

they might? i mean, the baskets are there to KEEP them in, and you can just bury the baskets on the bottom......

wow, that's........well i hope you figure it out lol.

The substrate is there to keep them in as well, but they won't stay in for me. xD I googled and youtubed this and couldn't find out what I was doing wrong..


Also.. mom asked me to warm up her chicken alfredo from pizza hut. I did so, had oven mits on when I pulled it out, I still ended up dropping the damned thing on the floor. =A=

So she asked me to make her soup. I put soup on the stove and I guess I zoned out... I over cooked the noodles. She still ate it, luckily she likes the noodles a bit over cooked =A=

then the thing with the pet store and my tank happened...


so, plants not staying put, cooking miss adventure twice, and pet store crazies.


not my day...

mom's now whining about me not wanting to keep her johnny cash collection when she dies. and now she wants me to take this small teddy bear.. not in the mood for this crap! DX ITS YOUR STUFF KEEP IT IN YOUR ROOM OR TOSS IT! D:<
