It's funny, I frequently guess the time/price correctly, but estimating how long a task will take is beyond me

Just like my short term memory sucks, but somehow I remember sequences of numbers really well, even if I just saw them once. Twice will ingrain into my brain until I use the sequence (if it's a one time thing) or just stay in my brain for longer, if I keep using the sequence once in a while. Everybody's always like "how do you do that?" and I really don't know... Then I forget to take laundry out of the machine, or that I wanted to eat/sleep/pee/have sex/whatever. It's like my brain is empty sometimes

I have Swiss cheese for a brain xD
I was doing well yesterday, but today I somehow don't register when it's pomodoro time and when it's break time. I'll get a signal the time ended and I thought it was pomodoro, but turns out now it's pomodoro, so when did my break go? Did I even launch the break time?
Maybe I should go back to the timers just automatically start the time...
Checking the time manually doesn't really work for me, I get too distracted with the phone, even if I only intend tocheck the time, I somehow manage to go on apps. At the very least I'll be checking the time every 2 minutes

At least that's the issue I had when I was working remotely. Now I guess I'm afraid to start more serious stuff than reading and working like a normal job, but at home, for free, for myself sounds like it's too much effort and I'd rather stay here on kofk or whatch youtube mindlessly, even though I know I have nothing interesting to watch.
Do you have any other technique recommendations for me? I don't know that many and I don't know what else to try out...
Nobody can blame you for being unmotivated to work for that guy, honestly, what a little bitch XD
