I was reminded of people being picky about things a person says.
Like I watch a lot of true crime stuff and if someone refers to a missing person in past tense, people just automatically assume they're guilty.
I do it ALL THE TIME. It's funny what small things people get obsessed over 8u
I'm not saying they're all innocent, but people just...
Like this couple's daughter has been missing for a while and they were talking about her in past tense.
Like how she did this and liked that.
People attacked them, accusing them of killing their daughter.
Because they used past tense.
It's ridiculous xD
People are recalling memories, which were in the past so they use past tense.
