I don't smile much when I'm deeply depressed, but that's not often anymore.

I started working at an elementary school a couple of months ago and, regardless of how I feel, I smile and say hello or good morning or whatever is appropriate for the time of day to folks (kids and adults) that I pass as I walk around campus. Mostly just to be friendly and maybe get a smile in return. I haven't been depressed much since I started working there. Exhausted, yes; depressed, no.

I have Resting Bitch Face so me not smiling just seems to make people tell me to smile.
I often look angry or not amused or bored.
I can't help what my face looks like - I was born with it.
And it seems like it's my dad's heritage being passed down because a lot of the people in his family have RBF xD

It really pisses me off when my mom complains about people not smiling.
She'll say stuff like "It won't kill you to smile!" "Your life can't be that bad that you don't smile!" "People should be happy to be alive!" "I can't stand it when people don't smile!"
I told her off the other day but she still does it Bu

You don't know what people are going through. Don't act like you know or act like you can just judge them.
