If I ever get isekai'd.. I'd want it to be as a Master of a Dungeon like in that one manga. >w>
A newly born dungeon isolated in the heart of a dense magic forest that no one can visit. Access to my previous worlds items (manga, anime, games, snacks, appliances) No need to actually eat as the world's mana would keep me alive.

Slowly build my dungeon, defenses, monsters... I could probably survive in another world that way. o3o


I could be a tamer... but I'd have to go out into the world... o3o dungeon master is better for me.


Isekai are fun tho. >w< I know people complain about it being "over done" but they're so much fun. Even if certain things are 'over done' there's still something new about them each time. >w<

I could do without the harem crap though. Even if the Isekai doesn't have a harem, people start scream harem just because there's more than one female... =3=
Then there's the people screaming pedo over characters who were adults in the past life being reborn as children and falling in love with someone of their new body's age. =3=

Death Mage... isn't an isekai for everyone. Too many people see it as a story of pedophilia even though nothing actually happens.

4 lives, 3 deaths, each of them unfair. His forth life he is determined to not die and does everything in his power, from infancy onwards to survive.

The monsters he allies himself with. The males bow down to him and worship him like a leader yet at the same time treat him like their son. The females, most of them also treat him as their leader and son, but some are greatly attracted to his power so want to bear his children when he's of age. (it is a harem but the harem parts are easily ignore-able as the story's focus is kingdom building and fighting against the gods.


I couldn't live life like Ryoma from Grace of the Gods.. =/ I can't kill animals, skin, clean and butcher them.... x-x

I could probably survive if I had Mukouda's Online Shopping skill from Campfire Cooking. o3o

There's two LN's I read some times that are about Dungeons appearing on earth and people going to explore them ovo those are fun too!

Yeah if I were isekaied, I’d avoid royalty. Seems like it’s a whole other mess there lol. I’d love to travel around and use magic and see fantastical things. I’d love it if I had mukoudas online shop skill. It would make life so much better to still be able to access my previous world in a limited way.

I’ve also read a lot of stories where dungeons or people awakening to powers in our world too. I like those ones as well.

By the Grace of the Gods is one of my favorite Light Novels. The anime.. was butchered but should be good for someone who hasn't read the LN or manga (i recommend the LN or Manga more tho, so much was cut out and changed for the anime I hope they do better with season 2)

Isekai stuff is fun.... but my worst problems would be figuring out how to interact with people of a culture I'd be 100% unfamiliar with. I don't know how the characters aren't constantly in trouble over cultural misunderstandings.

I loved the very few chapters I found of a translated LN called something like "The Savior's Book Cafe in Another World" or however it went exactly. I had so much empahty for that MC! She just wants to live quietly in a book cafe far enough out of the city to have some peace and quiet.... it's fantastic. I really want more chapters of it, but I only found something like 6 of them.

And I really covet that "comprehent other world languages" skill! I would travel all over collecting languages and reading everything I could get my hands on, in the original languages as they were first intended.
But I'd be dead before I could really enjoy it.
I'm blind as a bat, so the first time my glasses broke... yep, that'd be it.

I'd fall off a cliff or walk right into the maw of a dragon or step onto a nice clear "path" and find out too late it was whitewater rapids...
My death would be swift.
And likely painful.

Cultural Differences of ISEKAI!!!!

The characters adapt just fine. They acclimated just fine to their new surroundings.
The people watching this show... they spaz out over every little thing to even dropping a series over it.

Age of Consent/Age of being considered an adult.
Young Children working instead of 'being kids' / Child Labor.
Slavery
There are other things I can't think of at the moment.

People keep pushing their morals and societal views onto fictional stories.. =/
I try to avoid conversations with other anime fans because of this. x-x
The drama they start up.


The best part is... when they nitpick at the slavery issue.. its always with the Criminal Slaves and Debt Slaves of Campfire Cooking and Grace of the Gods.. but the slavery that replicates the slavery the africans suffered at the hands of the british and eventually americans, they love it... =/ hypocrites.


Fun Tip!!!

Debt Slaves are mostly treated like those on Welfare who are sent to work off their foodstamps/welfare money! (I had to do this.... the way the people that hold the work programs treat you is disgusting. and Welfare didn't care.)

Criminal Slaves are basically no different than the Prisoners in US prisons (dunno about other countries prisons) who work for little to nothing. Some places have a points system for the prisoners to exchange said points for stuff like snacks, books, magazines, cd players and cds! Also depends on how bad the crimes were, and what area of the prison they're housed o3o



So even though it's under a different name, we still technically have Debt and Criminal slaves =w=



Ages of Adulthood being 13-15 in these stories are another thing too..
then again, they yell pedo over beach episodes too so... meh...

I haven't seen enough of KonoSuba.. started watching it with Ruru and Chizzy but haven't finished it.

DanMachi and RE:Zero I like tho ovo I have vol 1 of DanMachi's LN.. gotta get the rest. The anime is good but there's more content in the LNs.

I enjoyed Black Butler's season 1, haven't seen more than that.

I liked Dragon Ball, but the Z series onwards no thanks =3=

I'm re-reading Dungeon Busters vol 1 and I missed out on reading vol 2 as it was being released.. and now vol 3 is being released finally... so to remember how things ended in vol 1 I gotta re-read that and then read vol 2 to start vol 3.

Not sure if I like this series enough to buy it tho o3o
