Oh, maybe I don't look like one, but I am a chatterbox :mclaugh:
Which is one of my silliest features, because I'm quite an introverted person.
But I talk and talk and talk endlessly.

Forums are quite dead in general, that's true. Teenagers don't even know what they are.
I suppose now people wants instant reply, only some old fashioned souls enjoy writing in their own time.

Salads are good for everything.
Leftover chicken? To the salad.
Leftover veggies? To the salad.
Leftover bread? Toast and to the salad.
Bought too much cheese? To the salad.
(Just not all at once... or maybe yes.)

Yeah, no complain. It does not harm xD
Most people don't believe me when I say I'm introvert, just because I talk a lot.
(Actually I talk even more when I'm anxious, so...)

I talk a lot when I'm anxious. And it's often silly things and a lot of jokes.

I also agree on the salad front. It's great for leftovers.
Omelets are great for leftovers too. And fried rice.

I LOVE that it's not instant. I don't like, nor want, the pressure of instant messaging.

No, it makes perfect sense to me.

Usually introverts actively process more of the information that comes in to them, so they get overloaded faster, right? So one of the best ways to help reduce the information that comes at you, is to be the one to put out information instead.
If you're talking, then other people aren't. Less for you to listen to, less for you to take in, less for you to spend energy on, less tiring.
So the more stressed, the more helpful it is to be the one talking.

It makes perfect sense.

(Not saying that's right, lol, you might have something else going on entirely! I'm just speculating blindly here; if I can come up with even one reason why it would work that way, that means there's probably about a dozen other reasons out there which never occurred to me yet, so who knows....)

Also, this salad is delicious.

Bon apetit! :mccool:

And, yes, that's about it for me.
For example, I prefer going grocery shopping first thing in the morning, when it has just opened.
But yesterday my son was going to a bday party at 10:30 and we decided we would drop him and then do the shopping.

Waiting my turn at the butcher's I started to feel dizzy. So many people, all talking, even shouting, the butcher calling the turn number...
I was soooo glad it was over.

Yes!
I know you can train yourself to filter out more of the information that comes at you all the time, but I always get stressed out and nervous from doing that (what if I miss something important or dangerous?), and if it's going to be stressful either way, I'd rather notice things than block them out.

Side note, I am NEVER going to a "state fair" again. No matter what my cousins say.

Which reminds me we still have to plan our summer holidays.
This year we want to go somewhere, for a change, but we still don't know where.

Do you have a list of places that you all want to go that you've been gradually checking off?
Or do you have to decide from scratch every holiday?

From scratch.
We don't travel that much anyway, and we are easy to please. For example, we don't mind visiting a place we've already visited in the past.
And now that we are travelling with a child, it's all a bit different.

We usually don't make long trips (one weeks, 10 days tops) and we like to take it easy, so it's either one location or maybe two.

I've been considering Amsterdam & Brussels. We were there on 2010 I think.
Amsterdan and surroundings are nice, you can rent a bike easily (I think my son would enjoy that) and in Brussels we could go to the Atomium and the Mini Europe (those could be nice with kids too).

Another option would be Paris. He enjoys museums, so it would be worth it.
Or somewhere in the UK, cause I've only been to the South. Maybe Edimbourgh?
We can fly to those from a nearby airport too, which is an advantage for them all.
