I have a soft spot for the elderly and they often are targets for scammers.
It makes my blood boil when I see them get scammed.
It pisses me off even more when people blame them for falling for it.

That's good. He can kick their ass >8u
I live with my mom, sister, and aunt.
We have a bat and a BB gun that does look pretty close to a real gun u8
I mean, I guess BBs do hurt but I don't even know if it has any xD
I'd prefer a big mean dog u8
My poor dog Hyde died recently...
We had him for about 15 years.
People were scared of him but he was a wuss xD

My grandma has been getting a lot of scams to where their literally spending HER MONEY. she is still trying to sort it out.
luckily not spending a huge amount. maybe $30-50 at most.
but it makes me so mad when people lie about commissioning artists especially small artists who need the money and they just...scam them..it's so hurtful.
cause we artists have a hard enough time just finding work and breaking through these stupid algorithms...but doing that is another level of being so cruel to me.
considering im the only one working and trying my best to help out my family during covid times.

not sure what kind of weapons we have but if anything i can throw crutches at them.
I'm currently injured with my knee dislocating. so i can't even go or walk down th stairs.

I had someone steal $200 from me like a year ago.
They payed for some extreme outdoor training bullshit.
I'm fat and Agoraphobic - I'd NEVER spend money on that Bu

Artists do get screwed over. I see them get their art stolen and people turn it into merch and the artist gets no profit from it.
I've seen people request that their art not be posted elsewhere only for people to say "Why are you complaining!? You're getting publicity!"
And the good old "Don't post your art online if you don't want it stolen!"

I'm sure a crutch can do some damage 8u
I did have my dad's roofing hatchet but he took it...That was my weapon for the zombies >8u
I also had a machete my dad owned but dunno where it went xD
I also have a decent...combat knife? A friend of my mom's gave it to me. It's hidden at the top of the closet so my sister can't get to it.
I also have a pocket knife u8

yeah it's just annoying to look for jobs when someone could scam me. the downside of being a freelance artist lol.

but since I dislocated my knee all I've done is art and made some new concepts and yhinking of gradually getting supplies to open my sticer shop, so that has been pretty fun.

my fam is very passive so we don't own weapons like bats or anything.

I wish I could have found a way to sell my art...
I'm so bad at talking to people and really scared of getting tons of attention on me...

I'm glad you've been having fun doing that :3

My family is...Uh...Well, my grandpa's side is full of bad tempers and people willing to fight xD
I'm extremely docile but I also have a bad temper and will stand up for myself ig I get extremely angry.
My aunt started shit with me once and was trying to take my computer away.
I didn't hit her or anything - I kept shoving her away every time she got close.
That's the only physical fight I've ever been in.
My mom seemed to enjoy it and said I held my own.

I also just really love knives.
I'd own a real katana if I could 8u

Freelance art isn't so much talking to people but marketing yourself on social media like Instagram, twitter, etc.
I apply to so many jobs but i need to really up my art game.
Tho i actually got my commissions from twitch and a place called Toyhouse.
It's all about marketing and selling yourself pretty much to get those interested, actually interested enough to contact you.

i am very passive as is my family. i usually just block people and cut them out if they hurt me one too many times.

Yeah, I don't like advertising my art and having a lot of attention on me xD;
Makes me very anxious...
Even irl - I find it hard to even leave the house and be around people.

I tend to ignore people and things I don't like.
Which is why I'm so baffled by people looking up stuff they hate just to complain about it ._.

yeah. since art I all I can do. now even I have physical restrictions due to my injury I just learn to adapt.

yeah. I just cut people out. family or not.
my relatives ever since my mom passed have bee real awful.

I can't handle all that attention or even just talking to one stranger.
It gets hard for me to breathe and I want to get away xD

I have no issue cutting people off.
Depends on what they did.
A lot of the time, it's been me being the asshole xD;

it can be scary tho most commissioners are super kind and patient.
which i appreciate so much. since only commissioner i had was my close friend.
Tho now i have some experience in painted portraits and twitch badges.

i've blocked even family members.
my aunt pretty much made my digital art career sound like it was a cute little hobby...when it wasn't. and she has done so much damage to my family i just...had enough of her. and her daughter talks ill of my grandmother on her twitter. so i had enough of them.
