I think it's something of older sites like this, some users took pride in having rare and hard-to-get Items. I know I can be that way too. But honestly, it's nicer to have the options.

I suppose I've never felt it that way, so I can't relate to the feeling.
Maybe because I think new people getting older items now are getting them HARDER than we did.
For example, we got Kuroneko for free, cause it was a drawing contest reward. But if Firn auctioned one it probably would sell for hundreds of FPs, which takes quite a while to save up. So for them it's extra work.

In some games, you can PAY for items you could get earlier FOR FREE.
Maybe other people like paying, but if I can get an item by regular playing I'd rather get it that way...
So I would still feel proud of having it from the beginning.

That said, this is the only place in which I joined quite early, so no expert in anything.

yeah i'm also the kind of person who would rather play for items rather than pay for them. if i had no other choice, i would pay then. like a previously released item that i can no longer get or something.

There are a lot of items I missed because I was gone and they are newer items from the treasure trove that never circulate.

Yeah, I don't think this site has had a lot of people buying FC to where there are a lot of extras going around. So those times are never leaving accounts.
