Hating one's brother-in-law is perfectly normal, I think.
Here the stereotype about brothers-in-law is that they are know-it-alls who bother everybody in the family with remarks intended to prove his superiority.

Even mother-in-law stereotype is nicer!

Lol, my brother-in-law is exactly that know-it-all guy. But he's always been. And I've always hated him. But there's another level of a reason to hate him. He started a huge family drama and I didn't talk to my sister for several years. He even gave me trauma So yeah, really no reason to like him. Except maybe that he's the reason I have the cutest nephew But let's be honest, my sister did most of the job

You did not talk to your sister for years because of him? No wonder you hate him!

Haha, genes sometimes work that way.
My brother's son is also 99% him. Really got so little from his mom, other than freaking out at the slightest dirtiness.
Which is a pity, his mom is real nice.

Yeah, the family drama was truly terrible. there's still some beef lying around... She wasn't an angel herself and I was really pissed at her. But I think we got it worked out.
For now, my nephew seems more like my sister, so I cross my heart he won't be as annoying and stupid as his father I mean, I'll love him anyways, it will just be a pity if he actually shares his worldview in the future... Which now I think is inevitable... *sigh*

For once I am glad my brother and sister both decided (among themselves) that I was apparently the thing that caused all that what was wrong in their lives and stopped talking to me. It has been five years (and counting) of peace and quite during drama free celebrations. :}

I'm sort of jealous, lol. the peace must be nice.

I’m glad there’s no big dramas in my fam. At least then immediate fam. I know some extended fam drama but it has nothing to do with me so I don’t care lol.

Only mild drama in my family. Some arguments and strong disagreements.
My brother one stopped talking to my parents for a few weeks.
I more than once said to myself that I would never talk to them again, but never actually did.
Just "normal" resentments xD
