Saw it on GR.
The plot seems interesting though... but I see the reviews are mostly great or very bad :/

I've never read any of the author, would you say other of her titles are good?
Tbh I've liked most of Austen's works but I've never dared to try many regency writers cause I'm kinda scared it gets too cheesy - in a very dated way! ^^;

I finished We Have Always Been Here by Lena Nguyen while sitting at the hospital yesterday. I rated it 3/5 because it just wasn't that satisfying of an end. It was a really interesting concept, but I couldn't get that into it. I wasn't a fan of the main character and her thinking either.

So far this year I have read Miss Goodhue Lives for a Night by Kate Noble and Frederica by Georgette Heyer.

I am currently reading The Lost Prince by Frances Hodgson Burnett and Emma Watson by Joan Aiken. I am about 3/4 of the way through them both.

Okay Luna, I need to ask, what do you count for books. Like I had a friend that worked at a preschool and she would count children's books. Lol.

I started Questland by Carrie Vaughn. It's okay so far. Only a quarter of the way through. I have a hold on a book that seems to be more of the mystery I'm looking for, but the estimated time before I can get it is three months lol.

Ooh okay. I am trying different to read in different genres this year so I might peruse your list to see if anything catches my eye. Also sent you a friend request cuz I like being nosey in general lol.
I think cuz I always end up reading fantasy, I'm used to like 400+ page books that takes me ages to read. I consider something under 300 pages short lol.

yeah, i agree with you! smaller than 300 pages is a short book. I think books under 200 pages are just called novellas for romance. I accepted the friend request! :qh:

I actually recently starting reading so much last year and started doing reviews recently. I even started a bookstagram. It's soo fun and relaxing :mclove:

200?
Damn it, Luna, you are my hero XD

I finished The Emperor of San Francisco a while ago.
Real nice read. Light hearted sci-fi, bit of teen romance, bit of mystery... and a cat. And the cat tells the story.

But I'm not sure I want to keep reading the series.
Weird feeling I suppose, but I like how this one book ended and I can't help thinking that starting a new adventure from there just can't work. Just can't.

Now I'm reading a book about a high-school feminist program nearby.
I hope to learn something from this one!
