Real talk for a moment: Can we Go back to that month that Pokemon Go was released. Everyone was so happy and the only people down my throat were old men at work who complained about a cell phone app kids were playing. Can we have that? Please.

Yeah I guess so. The problem started when my great aunts youngest son (my uncle) left her after she fell at home. Originally they all thought it was nothing. Next day, another of my great aunts sons came to check on her and she was still in pain. They go to the hospital and that’s when they found out that she had fractured her arm. She was in pain. All. Night. Everyone was just in shock that the youngest uncle didn’t even CHECK whether she had been badly hurt or not, just told her to go to bed.

Hopefully she doesn't fall again. My grandfather fell a week or so ago. It can be scary.

Yeeeep the rest of my great aunt’s kids (my uncles and aunts I guess) all kinda have an issue with the youngest now. My great aunt’s fam had a small computer business and all the siblings and some of the in-laws all worked together. My great aunt and her husband built this small shop up together. However, as everyone got older and retired, they left, until it was only the eldest and youngest working there. But then, the youngest turned around and pushed his own older brother out of the business, saying that he’s not really needed. There was HUGE drama.
So, the relationships there have become a biiiit strained, if you get what I’m saying.

Nope it’s really not. And the eldest had made this schedule so that the rest of the sibs would visit their mother (my great aunt) on set days. Instead, all the other sibs complain and say they’re not available on so and so day. I hafta hand it to my elder uncle, dealing with all his sibs and taking care of his mother, he deserves all the respect.

yeah i know what you mean. one of my great aunt's daughters lives in the same city as us, which is around 40ish mins away from where my great aunt lives. she and her husband no longer have a car, live in a retirement community...thing...so she has to hire a car to drive her out there. so she's too cheap to pay to go visit her mom and insists on waiting for one of her kids (my older cousins) to drive her.
the youngest lives in the same city as the eldest (i think) but he's always like "i can't do weekends bc i have church now" bc he decided to get baptized behind the entire family's back and not tell anyone (my great aunt is primarily buddhist and the rest of her kids aren't really religious that much but will accompany her to temple if she wants to go). another lives in Windsor which is several hours away.....and the last one lives in SAN FRANCISCO with her daughter and their family. and yet, shortly after going back to San Fran, she makes the trip BACK to canada just to take care of her hospitalized mom. bc some of her other CANADIAN sibs don't have the TIME to do it.
