I think it's gonna be a lot of fun voting and checking everybody's avies.

Why? The contest is not decided by who has the most votes, but who has the best votes. You can submit your avatar at the beginning of the month get 572448 "2"-ratings, and still someone who submits his avatar at the end of the month and gets 20 "5"-ratings will beat you.

I had the same opinion. Especially for "edit"..
Maybe there should be a date to send his avatar for that everyone is equal.

It's awesome that they stay anonymous until you vote on
the avvie, but what happens when you submit one later?
It will still get Votes, but it might not get as many because it
was submitted later on in the month rather than in the beginning. :l
