For once, I'm actually in on the very start of an event. 
This one's kind of cool. It makes me think of Harvest Moon and Rune Factory for some reason.

there is 1 thing I don't understand . How do we water and fertilize the plants ?

By clicking on the "water" and "fertilize" buttons under the plant ? ^^,
