Kingdom of Knuffel

Jamie is my favourit so far, I have yet to read the fifth book, but the others I love!
I gave a copy of the translated Game of Thrones to my sister and my best friend just to force them to read the story. But names translated to swedish (my native language) makes me shudder...

I enjoyed A Song of Fire and Ice but haven't gotten further in the series myself. I've taken to reading lighter stuff these days as I feel my attention span drifting off to sea.

OMG THATS the book series it's based on??? I had no idea! I've been meaning to read that series forever! lol! People turn up their noses at geeky sci-fi books but then you put it on tv and all of sudden everyone's into it.

I read the first 3 back when there only WERE 3, and realized I didn't actually like them all that much and didn't bother to read the 4th when it came out ^_^*

I just don't like how overly dark they are -- it's like, there's "realistic" and then there's "stupidly killing characters off for no reason", and the books were definitely veering quickly into the latter. It's been weird for me, as someone who was sick of the series many years ago, to suddenly be surrounded by people flipping out over it.

I just got the first book as a gift two weeks ago. I'm looking forward to reading it. :)

Oh my god I had almost forgotten that the series was actually called A Song of Fire and Ice.

I haven't read the 5th book yet, though.
