Yes, I love the flower background! and the ears, and the wings, and the hair.
It's going to be interesting to see how many items people manage to get before the shop closes this month.

Can you actually track those statistics?

This is a cool idea and the items are cute, but I think it would be better if we could earn donuts all the time, or donuts were awarded in random amounts, like with food points, or some other option. Otherwise it just doesn't seem realistic for anyone to possibly get all the items, in all the colors. Each set would take hundreds of posts. Being able to spread that through the whole month is a lot easier than trying to cram it into a few days every month.

(I did some math- just getting the complete set of armwarmers would take 126 posts. One post every 5 seconds would take 10.5 hours of posting. Unless you are in a spam or word game thread, you *can't* post every 5 seconds (I'm not even sure the system will let you post that often) because no threads move that fast. It takes 57.5 hours of posting to get the wigs.)

I don't know why there is such a huge emphasis on forcing people to post here. If there were more on site activities (more games? the battle system?)
people would be on site for those and the posting would come naturally. For me, the more emphasis there is on POST! POST! POST! the less likely I am to want to participate.

Er, I take your point but I don't think your math is right. 126 posts shouldn't take 10.5 hours at every five seconds. Every 5 seconds is 12 a minute, so you're looking at 10.5 MINUTES, not 10.5 hours. I hope things seem a little more reasonable, now?

Butcherbaby, I see your point and we had taken this into consideration, but what I fear would happen if donuts would be available all the time, would probably be what is already happening with food: You can get it all the time for posting, but because it is always there, it doesn't motivate people enough.

I also understand that more games and a battle system would be good, but unfortunately we just don't have the resources for either of these. :mcsad: It is really not a matter of not wanting to, we just can't and I am really sorry about that. Starkad is currently working up to 10 hours a day and I am really glad he gets these smaller things done at all.

And Akili Li pointed out the error in your math already. :qhehe: I hope that makes it less frustrating for you.
