Oooh, cool c:
Is it set in modern day? Any supernatural/ occult elements or is it more grounded in realism? c:

I'm writing a high fantasy adventure novel. It's a bit cliche, but an illustrator friend of mine wanted a project to work on, and I've been thinking up scenarios for this story for years, so I thought I might as well focus on writing it and maybe actually finish one of my narrative ideas for once xD;;

No it is set in past, and is more realistic with a touch of fairy tales.

I have the same with my drawings, my sister writes too and she allowed me to draw her OCs, and I made some scenery pictures for her.

Is yours with magic and such stuff?

Yup c:
Although I keep flip-flopping between whether the main characters should have powers or not =/

The main push of the story is the main characters going on a pilgrimage of sorts to collect revered, large gemstones - with one character believing in a prophecy that says collecting said gemstones will help end the world war that is currently happening, and the other character believing that its just a waste of time and that she'd rather be within the front-line forces.

Plot-wise, I had originally intended for the gemstones to unlock innate powers within themselves (so the prophecy ends up being more about them as people rather than the gems themselves) - but I feel like maybe its thematically stronger if the prophecy is actually entirely false? xP

That is something I cant help you with.^^

Therefore I dont make notes and just start writing, I never know how it turns out in the end, but I love it that way.
I cant write or draw with a plan or given topic.
Then its going to be the worst stuff I ever made.

Aye, that's basically been my thinking recently, so I've just started writing it anyway with the hope that I'll figure it out when I get to that part of the story xD

How far into writing yours are you?

Somewhere between beginning and middle part.
Slowly moving towards the real investigations and action.

But I change a lot after reading over it, it isnt as dark and evil yet as I wants it to be.
I really want it to get evil, demonish and disgusting (in a horror bloody meaning).

Hmm, yeah, I often end up wanting to go back and change things at the beginning once I've got further into the story - hence why I'm writing mine by hand in a notebook currently - means that when I eventually come to type it up, I can change it as I go c:
Plus it means I can write where-ever I want c:

Also!
Yay! I finally saved up enough water points for the female knuffel :D

No worries C:
It's nice to have a place to chat xD

I never used to be into fan-fiction, but over the last year or so I discovered an author that I like on tumblr, and have been reading everything that they write (well, everything that I recognise the original content of anyway P: )

What fanfics do you read mostly? Any fandoms that you're particularly enthusiastic about? c:
