I keep hoping someone will come up with a vaccine so the quarantine need will lessen or end.
I guess even with so many countries working on it, it's not a simple matter.

It would really help if masks were mandatory, and if people would stop being so fucking selfish. The US could've been done and over this by April if people had just fucking followed the guidelines and stayed the fuck home.

I'm technically a NEET, so nothing has changed for me, but I do live and take care of my crippled mother, who is in the category for those more susceptible to covid. We always take precautions, washing our hands and wearing our face masks. My older sister however, is a nurse at the nearby community hospital. She can't even have her child live in the same house as her for fear of exposing her kid, but she does make time to see her and help with schooling.
I honestly hope that a vaccine is made soon.

I rather enjoyed having a good reason to stay home all the time. I'm back at work part-time now, and though I need the money, I wish I could still stay home most days.

Hi! My fiance and I are both doing clinical rotations for our degree... He ended up being COVID positive and I negative. We are having to quarantine separately so I don't have to quarantine for his 10 days, plus another 14 for me since that wouldn't technically "last exposure" to a positive person... It has been horrible and I'm not meant to stay inside and away from everyone haha.
Needless to say I am getting retested tomorrow. If I happen to be positive, him and I will once again be together as COVID buddies.
His symptoms were very vague so I'm surprised we even thought to get tested. He lost sense of smell and maybe mildly weak during exercise, but that's it!

My state never truly shut down and my job fought to not close for a single day. My state is now pretty bad and we have a huge red zone maybe half an hour away. No one wears masks, social distances, etc. People are too selfish here.
I wish the entire country had had a real mandatory shut down.

I am a strong introvert so quarantine did not hit me too much. I can work from home as well, so I guess I am in quite a good position. In the same time it has been draining me mentally to see so many people ignore or break quarantine rules. I am in high risk group, relaying a lot on others in order to keep myself safe. I was hoping hard times would make people support each other more, but all I can see is aggressive behaviors and people trying to outsmart others. This Covid situation really made me lose faith in people.

I've missed out on income because convention season got axed hardcore. Free Comic Book Day didn't happen.
