That's true. With just one more eye, an entire face is so much more expressive. Kinda makes me want to write a monster character now because I've never thought about all this potential.

Actually, I'm a little surprised there isn't more Wuffel and Knuffel fanfic out there, you know?
And there's so much potential in the lore Firn hints at. For instance -what *is* Skull, behind that skull-mask?
Maybe a Wuffel in disguise?
Maybe an undead of sorts?
A forest spirit?
Is it truly a mask or is it Skull's face?
So many questions!

Lol. I think knuffle's lore is a little too obscure for there to be a lot of people writing about it, but it could be a fun way to revitalize the site. Like, do a writing contest. Make people interested in the site's concept.

Ha ha, that was what it was originally planned as, but, well, plans....

I've been trying to imagine the Candy Caravan's regular route through the Knuffel Kingdom. Clearly there must be a stop at a secret Wuffel food storage site (although how well do donuts store, exactly?). And a tailoring shop, to get all the items he's trading away. He does trade them cheaply, I only hope he's not an unscrupulous type who perpetuates sweatshops.... Probably includes a dental office on the way, because he must succumb to a sweet tooth and eat some of these donuts, so a tooth cleaning would be very important!
Maybe he goes by the Alchemist's, at the palace, for a spell to help keep the donuts from going stale?
And Lyera probably helps out with all those Wigs.
But....

Still not sure how this is a viable economic option, which probably means there's more going on that we don't know about.

Do you suppose Grog is in the intelligence-gathering trade? And he has a government sponsor?

Maybe the Alchemist has given him some kind of magical toothpaste to avoid the sweet tooth problems! That seems to be something that I could see him making.
I do think Grog is buying up his items outside of the kingdom and bringing them in, why else would their supply be limited to his shop. He must be travelling the world looking for good deals in between his visits. That could explain his prices as well, possibly he takes items from the kingdom and sells them for a lot far away, where they are exotic rarities.

The spy explanation is a good option too though...

Hm, suddenly I am even more curious about this Candy Caravan -if he's travelling the whole world, what do you suppose Grog is using to draw the wagons with? Donkeys? Strange unique-to-KofK fantastical beasts? a Bandersnatch, perhaps?

Somehow, I imagine it's bats pulling the wagons. Ot at least something with wings and a fitting, single eye. Just to make the eye culture even more complicated.
