Wow, that's fascinating Hanafuru.
And confusing, it feels like you should notice something does not feel perfectly even if you can't put your finger on it.

But, you can do it on purpose?

I guess it probably depends on how you define "on purpose". It's definitely not random, something in our brains is choosing specifically what to throw out. At the same time though I can't tell that part of my brain what to do, and have it delete specific memories LOL

Otherwise I'd just keep watching my favorite shows for the first time over and over :mccute:

Well, today I wanted to add some sort of platform to my gerbils cage.
I thought it would be easy finding a natural wood shelf or box that fit into my tank, but there was nothing suitable.
I will keep looking, but in the meantime I put the smaller tank inside the large one, so they have a little cave :qwhee:

Wait are your two gerbils already mingled? I thought it took longer.... that was super fast!

Yes, yes!
I posted in my hangout, but only Moi actually visits it xD
I removed the divider on Thrusday.
Because tomorrow and the day after tomorrow we'll be visiting family, so it was either doing it early or doing it later... and early was worth trying :mccute:
It all went really smoothly, and now I'm adding things one at a time.

Ooooh! Congratulations! Also I hope you have a fun trip.

Yes, I can't really seem to get into the whole "hangouts" thing. For whatever reason they just don't appeal as much as the casual nature of a chat.
I don't know why, but the implications of the world "hangout" scream "structure" to me, as a place designed for a specific purpose... whereas the word "chat" often comes with the implication of accidental or as an afterthought, and that kind of informality seems much less intimidating.
I'm probably way overthinking all of it and need to get over that, though.

At least here at KofK hangouts have always been less structured, but they are run by a person or group of people so you usually have to be in friendly terms with those people to even care to join or post in their hangout.
Chat threads here have always been topic-related, not chit-chat.
But if having something a bit more relaxed helps the forum activity I think this thread will be welcome.

And thanks.
It's lovely seeing them together. And they make noises, they seem to be chirping!
Ricky never made any noise, but it seems he simply had nobody to communicate with :D

It is really interesting how you can have two threads of casual talking, and if you put one under "hangout" it'll be more intimidating than putting it under "chat". I think some of it is the sheer amount of pages on hangouts too though. It seems like everyone has already been talking for ages, and I'll be like a stranger butting into the conversation-- even if that's not true.
