Or-or just, um, silence? I-I got an um, reply for a mistake, I fixed it, b-but other than that, silence..

I haven't checked the new PMs yet, I always do it in a bunch since it takes a time to store and organize the entries for the voting.

It seems the body part questions have died down somewhat, but I decided to add a little note on the first post anyway, to see if that helps with the confusion a bit.

This is such a great contest! :mclaugh:

One question:
If I decide to draw a dress, am I supposed to alter the male version so that it isn't a dress, like just flattening the chest part and make it so that it doesn't go out to the sides on the lower part...?

Or am I supposed to redo it so it doesn't look like the dress, just with the same theme...?

(sorry for the pics...)

How much do you need, Firn? Do you just want us to draw the item onto the base? Or do you need the item layers without the base? How about the item preview image?

This is up to you, depending on how much you want the male- and female version to differentiate.

Just the item on the base.

Question:

I was thinking of submitting a pet item. If I do, do I need to have it on both female and male bases? or can I just draw the pet on one base and submit that?

EDIT:

Question 2:

How do I attach the picture to the PM? Do I upload the image to photobucket (or something) and then copy the link into the PM?

Firn wrote:
Please draw both a male and a female version of your item if you draw gender-specific items like shirts. One base is enough for non-gender specific items.
Unless your pet is going to change depending on which gender equips it, you don't have to do that. And if it does change depending on which gender equips it... I think Firn might count that as two different pets in two different submissions.

And that's what I did; uploaded it onto my photobucket and then I used the [img] tag to put it into the PM.

Okay good good. =] Now I can do some homework and work on possible other submissions. =]

Thanks for clarifying. =] I sent my PM/entry.
