Kingdom of Knuffel

Gargoyles, Invader Zim and Highlander the animated show were some of my favorit old cartoons from good old childhood. There were so many more but I must say, I miss the weekends where you stood up to watch cartoons. As I once had to get up extremly early on a sunday, all I saw were shows like Big Bang Theory or some tv shopping adds. I was disappointed

there where so many good cartoons but there are good shows now to. I miss a lot of the cartoons from back then and I wish they would play them every now and again.

Rainbow Brite, Smurfs, Pound Puppies, Gummi Bears, Care Bears, Shirt Tales. God I miss the 80s cartoons so badly.

My favorites as a kid/teen were Pepper Ann, Recess, Arthur, David the Gnome, Hey Arnold, As Told By Ginger, Sailor Moon, Care Bears, My Little Pony, Rainbow Brite, Strawberry Shortcake. I still watch any of them that I can find now, except for the remakes of the 80s cartoons. I don't like the remakes...

I remember waiting for Care Bears and PPG to be on TV and there was one cartoon that was made where I live so I watched it. When I was a bit older I watched Scooby Doo and The Amazing Spider-Man.

I must admit that most of my childhood cartoons weren't even that good, however, they were far better than most of what's out there nowadays... But yeah, they do still make me all nostalgic whenever I happen to see some, or even hear the theme song or whatever... I miss my childhood, however short it was.

I'm currently rewatching Recess, but when I was a kid, I was really into the Disney animated series. Tale Spin, Rescue Rangers, Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Aladdin, etc.

I also watched some Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Hysteria, and Freakazoid from WB.
