Me too! :D I just finished my first book of the new year (though I actually started it a few weeks ago, still in December of 2017), and today I went to the library and got some more! The new one I'm reading goes by really fast, so I actually already read 70 pages, which is a lot more than I usually make it through in a day!

Hey, don't worry. You'll finish one soon.
Eh, does finishing a handbook count?

I say anything counts if you want it to count!
I had such a weird day. Someone was slightly rude to me online, and I cried. I mean, they were really only slightly rude, and I don't even know them or care about them, so it doesn't even matter, but I sobbed non-stop for like 3 hours. Now I have such a horrible headache. And I kind of feel like I'm only just barely not crying. Like the littlest thing could set me off again. It's so bizarre. And it's not that time of the month or anything. So I hardly got anything done today at all.

I finished reading an eBook version of something i had really wanted to read. I'm proud of myself because it's been literal years since I've finished a reading a novel that quickly...
Oh no! @Sanssouci
That happens to me too, unfortunately. Someone could look at me slightly weirdly and I'll think about that all day and be down in the dumps. 'swhy I cannot work in retail or customer service. I'm far too sensitive and wouldn't get much done. : (

Good job! It's been a while since I read anything quickly too lol!
Same here! I dwell on really stupid things. And I'm REALLY sensitive. Although sobbing for 3 hours was a bit much even for me lol! I slept fine though, and I feel back to normal (so far anyway!) today. I've even got a couple goodies coming in the mail.

And I have apparently reached my socialization quota today with a friend request. (One someone sent me on some other site.) But I'm still going to try to type this out without backing slowly into a corner and hiding.
So I have technically finished two then. Even though the handbook was minuscule.
I miss being able to finish books quickly. I like how flexible my work schedule is since I only have to work in the afternoons, but it still cuts into my reading time and afterwards I'm pretty tired and just want veg and not do much.
Do any of you ever get a burning sensation at the tips of your ears when someone is talking about you behind your back? It's an old wives tale that started in ancient Rome. They believed that you body could sense things. It sounds weird, but every time my ears burn and I walk into a room and the burning magically stops and people appear to stop whispering, it makes me wonder. This happened a lot to me in middle school. I also get joint aches and pains before a storm. My ears are actually burning now so that is kind of why I am wondering.
@Sanssouci: It's happened to me too. But it does matter. I know people say it doesn't, but you shouldn't hurt others' feelings wether you know them or not. It also still hurts even if it is complete stranger. I personally think that why it hurts is because they'd rather be mean to you than get to know you. And that honestly is not right.

Yeah, I mean, I was really trying to be nice, and make friends, and get to know people. So it was just so uncalled for!
My ears burn when I'm nervous or really upset, but that's about it!
I have a headache again today!
And I still haven't finished a single book this year!
