Kingdom of Knuffel

Cal gave a little salute to show he understood and resumed browsing. Right off the bat he found a few volumes of a manga series he was missing. Score! He grabbed them and continues on, keeping an eye out for the author Tony had mentioned.

Tony, after a bit, rejoins Cal with a couple books in his hands. "Did you want to check out the Drizzt Books?" He asks because he may have grabbed a couple. "And... if in the future, you want me to watch out for anything...let me know."

Cal looked up from his armful of books. He may have gone a bit overboard.
"Not yet, no. I'm checking to make sure I have enough money."

Tony laughs, unable to help it. He's happy that Cal apparently likes this place. "If you don't I can help out with that." He supports this store and, of course, people reading in general.

Cal looked a little flustered, his face turning a light pink.
"Th-that's really nice, but you don't have to do that."

"I think it's cute..." Tony says, not realizing he said it out loud. "It's no big deal....as long as you enjoy the books." He says simply.

Cute?! Cal's blush darkened. Tony called him cute. The nice good looking guy called him cute!
"Oh, th-that's no issue, I'll definitely enjoy them! I'll, um- I-I'll pay you back. Next order at the cafe is on the house."

Tony meant to just think it, not say it. And it suddenly hits him that it came out of his mouth as well and he starts blushing. But....since Cal isn't saying anything about it...well, no need to make things more awkward, right? "D-don't worry about it." He likes this store and Cal is adorable.

The redhead was flustered beyond reason, but made a valliant effort to regain his composure.
"R-right. Well. Um... l-let's go ahead and check out, if you're ready?"

"Yeah, I'm ready....you got everything you wanted?" Tony asks. His voice is normal, but he's still red. He knows he made this awkward, but doesn't know how to fix it.
