Oh man, we had trouble with girls like that. I had to be on loan for the soprano section often because we only had two soprano girls and they were besties so they'd often skip together. I was in the alto section but my range is more mezzo soprano so I could do it in a pinch.

And then in the junior choir apparently this girl only took it to be in the same class as her boyfriend and her parents were the stereotypical Korean parents who're like, no dating until you graduate! A student's job is to study! You can't date and study at the same time! And so they found out and called a meeting with the teacher and counselor asking, how dare they let their children date in their classes? What are they going to do about this? And the teachers are like, what? We're not gonna do anything. They can date if they want, as long as they don't disrupt the class for others. It's not a big deal, ma'am.

What was worse was we went to competition. And these stupid asses knew that. Luckily we never lost because of them.
I was in regular choir and a little group too.
They were not part of the group.
Thank God >Bu

I once tried out for Soprano and my voice was nowhere near it xD
Sometimes Alto was too high for me on some songs so I'd switch to Tenor.
Since we only had one Alto (who didn't sing btw) I would be put there.
So I had to memorize both parts of most songs u8
However, all I had to do was hear it once and had it memorized.
It took even my bestie a few tries and she was good at everything.
So that made me feel smart xD

>XD
They're going to have a candle light dinner in the middle of class \>8u/

I was attending the local high school but I had applied to this other high school because according to my parents, the grade ratings were good. i wasn't accepted til after two weeks lol. i left alllll my old friends in my old high school lol.

I found this: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/chorus
I learned something. I'll probably forget it in a few minutes, but at least I learned something for a while XD

Hotarla: Awww :\
I never left my school for another school.
Before my grandma died, she told my parents to keep me at the school I was in.
It's so sad that you have to leave friends behind.

I didn't think there was a huge difference between a chorus and a choir 8u

Ahhhh, I miss being in choir. We got to go out of town and be on stages and stuff.
I didn't like being in front of tons of people, but I loved singing.
I remember we went to one competition and my parents came with us and my dad was teaching the kids how to play poker.
And my bestie played piano so she had her own competition before the choir's and she was so scared because one of the girls who went in before her came out crying xD

Well I was only at my old high school for like a few weeks. It wasn’t enough to make new friends altho I did leave a few middle school/primary school friends. Since the school is only around 15-20 mins away, I could always walk there and visit them sometimes.

You know, I didn't get to hang out with my friends much outside of school.
My one friend could sleepover sometimes.
My other friend would let me visit sometimes.
But I see all these shows and movies and friends hanging out at the mall and at skate parks and all that.
Never did any of that.

I think my bestie's father didn't like my parents.
I don't know why, but my mom said she believes he was racist.
I don't know about that, but I know my bestie told me he was an asshole.
She told me once that he'd hit her with belts and didn't even care if he hit her in the face.
So I never liked him after that.

Ya know, I never did any of that either. I never really hung out with people like that, going to friend's house for sleepovers might've happened like ONCE in my entire lifetime, I've never really gone to malls or to the movies, the number of times I've went could be counted on one hand. Those shows and movies: ALL LIES. XD
