XD I want to go to the tofu festival this year. Their tofu sashimi is delish. <3

Sadly I don't like tofu. Or sushi or seaweed... a lot of Japanese food, really. Dx

What's everyone's favorite Japanese band/singer?

Really? Are you Asian?

I like tofu...especially fried tofu, and I love sushi. Seaweed is really good too. I'm not too attached to dango, though, but I've only had one type of them.

I'm a big fan of Gackt; been to one of his concerts so far, and I'm hoping for another opportunity to go again. I also like the way Miyavi looks, but I've never heard his stuff, so I'm not sure if he counts. Plastic Tree makes a lot of good stuff too, and I like listening to stuff by Abingdon Boy's School (they sang Innocent Sorrow for the D. Gray-man opening), ACID (I think they did an opening and ending in for Tokyo Majin)...

Ellegarden... is pretty good with me, but I haven't listened to enough of their stuff to decide (since one of their songs is my favorite, I'd say they have a lot of potential to be my favorite band too, if I listened to more of their stuff). I was into AKFG at one point too... good stuff.

Have you ever heard of Ketchupmania? I havent heard any of their songs, (and I know pretty much nothing about them) but their name is funny. xD

All I have are Mini Moni, Plastic Tree, and Utada Hikaru songs. I'd say Mini Moni is my favorite, then Plastic Tree, then Utada Hikaru.

No, quite the opposite. You kinda feel... not Asian. Which makes me think you're Caucasian.

Oh, well, Gackt is my favorite in the end... everything else is pretty much bands that I have liked more than three songs of. XD I had more... but... yeah. I don't stick to Japanese bands so much as jump around in the J-rock genre. It usually depends on what people recommend me.

I've never heard of Ketchupmania. XD From what Firn told me of Plastic Tree, bands can come up with some pretty silly names sometimes.

Ah, I likes some Utada Hikaru songs too. What's Mini Moni, more specifically?

Mini Moni was an all-female Japanese band that was part of Morning Musume, which is part of the Hello Project. I said "was" cos they disbanded/broke up or whatever its called. Want more, look it up on Wikipedia. xD;; If you listened to the song included with the vocab words (which you sould have. >.>), that was Mini Moni.

It could... I mean, one of Ellegarden's songs is called "Migite" which translates to "right hand." Couldn't you use a Japanese-English dictionary to confirm?
