Yeh. I wanted to try out sims 4 but I can't believe I managed to mess it up and get 3 ;-; Oh well, I'll still play it but *grumble grumble

They have 3 expansions, soon to have a 4th in November.

There are 5 game packs (a cross between a stuff pack and expansion, smaller than expansion, bigger than stuff pack).

12 stuff packs.

I'm just missing 2 stuff packs. I preordered the cats and dogs expansion that's coming in november

What's in the stuff packs? More clothes? I wish I could swap my sims 3 for sims 4. Steam pls ;-;

Cats and dogs sounds fun. What can you do in it? I know you can follow your sim to work for one expansion and uh, the camping one? I think. Looks super fun.

You bought it on steam? yeaaah don't think sims 4 is on steam. It's actually originally on origin.

Uhh generally more clothes and furniture/build items. A small amount. I like to buy them on sale though. I don't think they're worth the AU $15 amount. Maybe $12 from cdkeys.

I have the camping one, it's a game pack, it's well I haven't had my sim go camping much. I guess my sims are hermits like me.

That's probably why. Damn. How else can you get Sims 4 then? I don't have origin. I suppose I can get a hard copy as my laptop does have a disk player. I never use it though.

I always buy things on sale. Are the sales decent? I remember I bought Sims 3 for $20 so I thought that was really good.

I mean, how different can the camping events be? Or are they pretty boring after one play through?

You have to install origin to play it.

Sims sales are okay, for the packs. Decent/good for the expansions. But I shop on cdkeys for them.... and get bundles for good deals :3

You say sims 4 is better than 3?
I used to play 2 a lot and I got 3 at some point, but I don't enjoy 3 as much as I did 2. Somehow I didn't like how everything is more oriented towards the whole neighbourhood? I think... But I haven't played in a while.
I mostly just build houses and design characters/families anyway. I think of their stories in my head while I do and very often I don't have a lot of interest in actually recreating them in gameplay then :D But sometimes I do play as well.

I got used to the changes they did compared to 3.

It is not open world, no cars, load screens like sims 2..

I do the same in my gameplay :)

How do you get to other locations than your house then?

you can use the phone your sim has to travel or click the world icon to travel that way too.

With the city living EP you have festivals you can go to :D
