yeah i guess that's the thing. i guess you could always advertise, or put your art up on sites like redbubble or whatever its called.

exactly. its the reason we have so many of the same type of webnovels being written over and over again. bc those stories sell.

And don't forget romance novels, they too follow a set storyline because it sells.
And be fair no-one likes to read a adventure story where the protag dies or fails at the end. :}

yup exactly. authors know what sells so they write stories in that same format. rarely do we get anything new and original. xD;;
