*roots for Lady*

Been at a wine fest yesterday. I was not drinking much lately so that I felt the difference after 1/2 bottle of wine. But I still was not drunk. But I felt the alcohol flowing through my body (if you know what I mean xD?), Anyway, I had a good and deep talk with one of my best friends so that we ended up pointing out why we feel what we feel (about ourselves, about men, about friends, ... ).

Ouch, I feel bad for him but I hope the money is worth it. Dad had to do that too. He got home at 7pm and had to go to work at 1am =_=; and he didn't come home till 6pm. He had to drive down to Canberra for work that day.

I hope he's free for a date next week :3

I changed the avatar again. This is more like it. I love creepy-cute avatars the most.

That's cool. Any reason why you chose Swedish? At my uni they offer Japanese, Spanish and some chinese dialects? Not sure which ones though, probably just Mandarin, Cantonese. How many languages can you speak all up? I speak English and conversational Vietnamese. I would like to learn more Japanese in case I go back there on holiday.

Yeaah I don't know how much extra he'd get but I know it's something like $32/hr I think? It's a guess..

I'm hoping next weekend....the voucher we have expires on the 6/9. And his reunion is on the following weekend..

Wow, that's a lot more money I guess... But is the money worth the trouble?

And yea Poshi, this avi looks very nice!

I speak German, Russian, English, Spanish, French and Swedish :)
I wanted to learn a language not many people learn here... And I am not interested in Italian, Portuguese or Turkish so there are not too many languages left for me. I would love to learn Japanese as well.
How come you know Vietnamese?

$32 an hr is pretty good. I guess it's hard to pass that up.

Thank you.

Wow! You know so many languages! Are you fluent/semi-fluent in all of them? How did you learn all these languages? That's so impressive.

I know Viet because I'm ethnically Viet. I need to communicate with my parents somehow haha, plus they forced me into viet school as a child.

I speak French and Spanish but I have no one at all to practice with and so I'm gradually losing my skills and now when French or Spanish people speak to me I just panic XD

Yes Lady, that's true... If you had a job, too he would not have to work night shift and you were at home together in the evenings... Difficult to find one though of course :(

Jacob, I can totally feel you xD I panic with French as well xD
I feel a little more confident with Spanish now as I did a refresher-course at uni.

I can speak Russian because I was born in Kazakhstan and my parents are Russian. We emigrated to Germany when I was 5, that's why I speak German. I learned French (6 years) and Spanish (3 years) at school and recently did a refresher course in Spanish at uni as well so that I am basically back at my school Spanish niveau (so B1). Technically I have B2+/C1 in French, but I feel as if my French is even worse as my current Spanish, so sometime soon I want to refresh that one as well. And I have A2 in Swedish as I took two classes at uni.
In Germany we start learning English in 4th grade, so I had 9 years at school and I am doing my Bachelor's degree in English right now. So 3 more years.

That's why :P I'd say I can communicate fluently in German, English and Russian. I can understand people in all languages and I can also read pretty well in all of them. What is difficult for me is writing in Russian. And I have my difficulties recalling vocab in French. I feel a little more secure in Spanish now and I love Swedish so that I am refreshing that one on my own at home. And I want to take the B1 class next term.

Uh no he'd still work nights. I don't want him to change do day shift if it screws him up like it did before. He is a lot better on the night shift. He sleeps better then.

And yeah it's difficult to get a job here :( unless I applied at his work. There's a course I'm looking at but I may wait till the new year because of the cost of said course.
