I don't think that symptom list was very accurate then.
People with MS often fall - because their legs stop working suddenly. They often go blind all of a sudden. They often go mute, just as suddenly.
You never mentioned anything like it.

I mean, there may be a long list of symptoms, but the most specific one of MS is that the connection brain-body is very suddently broken.
And just as suddently many things that we take for granted stop working.

While you may have some or most of the symptoms in the list, if you are not falling down to the floor and going blind I would not even think about MS.
Because any other symptoms may be caused by a myriad of different illness.

If you think it is something serious then go to a doctor!
Take good care of yourself :qh:

I need to see a doctor...I really want to go to pain management and get new medication for my mental illness.
I'm just afraid of being told no.

Being told no?
You mean you are afraid the doctor won't give you new medication? Why?
Doctors should help us to feel better...
If you doctor does not help you, you should find another one!

Yeah, I want to go to pain management and get injections and pain pills.
I'm afraid of them telling me no and just telling me to lose weight.
I know I need to lose weight - but the pain will not go away even if I lose weight.
In fact, I can't lose weight because I can't exercise because I'm in pain.
It's like someone steadily stabbing me in the back and hip with an ice pick.
I just get told "Exercise and lose weight!"

When I was younger, my mom and I went to the mall and this guy had a machine that he hooked up to us and and it detected nerve damage.
He told me my nerve damage was worse than my mom's.
I've always wanted to go to pain management and see what they had to say.

I'm not sure I would trust a guy in a mall for any health-related issues, but of course he may be right.
Always worth looking into it.

I need to lose weight too.
I'm gaining more and more weight again - and at this point it's already hard making any exercise at all.
I know I should diet, but...

I think it was called a TENS unit.

A transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator (TENS) sends electrical pulses through the skin to start your body’s own pain killers. The electrical pulses can release endorphins and other substances to stop pain signals in the brain.

TENS can reduce pain. It works best when used during activities such as walking, doing chores, or exercise. The video below shows how TENS can reduce pain and demontrates how to use a TENS unit.

See with me, people think I constantly eat all day and I don't.
Like sometimes all I eat in a day is 1 bowl of cereal.

I'm no nutritionist, but I've always thought that we are obese because something is not working properly in our body.
I mean, bodies save some fat for survival... but why this much?

So maybe it's because you don't eat enough and your body thinks you are starving and wants to save as much energy.
Or maybe because your other health issues (and their medicines!) cause obesity.
Who knows?

Yeah, someone told me about the starving thing before.
I considered it a lot.

My psychiatrist always checked my thyroid and I never heard anything back so I assumed it was normal.
Then again, they never told me I had an iron deficiency either Bu

I don't know, could be anything.
And really, considering you are unwell it's no wonder your body does not have the perfect response.

Do you know what bothers me about being overweight?
That people assume that I'm fat because I don't workout, when it's actually the other way around: I don't workout because I'm fat and it's exhausting for my poor body! :mcmeh:

I should try to do something though *sighs*
