Totally agree; there's an era of selfishness and entitlement among a lot of people. When some can't even do the most basic of things it's no wonder local services are always totally overrun and understaffed.

I try my best to be kind not only to my neighbours, but to the planet - and it's not necessarily easy, but it's not difficult either.

Especially just BREAKING DOWN YOUR BOXES GARETH

Looks like the people not breaking down boxes are a universal thing. The cleaning staff at my apartment got so fed up with it they put on an announcement about it in the trash locker. Not that anyone is reading it though.

As for meds, Japan has this wonderful system where they only give you the exact amount of meds you need. So in the end all I have in my medicine cupboard is over the counter stuff (and French over the counter pain killers ^^) that I use regularly enough so there's not really an expiration date problem.

There's a lot of people who don't bother breaking boxes down at work
I'm pretty good about breaking boxes down, only time I don't is when I'm told not to, or the box has more cardboard in it so it's not empty anyway

That's awesome.
So intead of a full box of medicines they give you a recipient with, say, 10 pills?
Makes perfect sense.

Not even that. They open up boxes and cut down whatever that shiny metal/plastic thing is called to give you exactly the amount needed.
It's both very nice and very annoying when it's very small pills because it's easy to loose.
I still have some of those because they're pain killers and fav resident always underestimates my resistance to pain. (That and they only last a few hours so I usually resort to my French stash)

Oh, I would carry a tin or something when I went to the pharmacy.
Just in case!

Well, we have a whole year to find them all!
Even if you are not lucky the first day it's just a matter of persistence. Don't give up!

Those items are just too adorable. I'm almost tempted to get out some of my level 100 Knuffel to increase my chances.

Oh my, don't. They would NEVER give anything to you in a tin you brought in. We get paper enveloppes XD
The only problem with that is that I've once spent more time in a pharmacy than I did getting a tooth out.

I can loan out some lvl 100 knuffel who specialize in various different elements if you really feel anxious about the new digging items, Kitalpha.
But I really think you don't have to stress over it; they'll undoubtedly start showing up in the market pretty fast as well as Mem's and Hotarla's threads, besides having a whole year.
But yeah.
I've got plenty if you want to borrow.

Japan's system sounds really smart.

I wish I felt smart right now, I feel smashed instead. So tired....

KofK is a balm to the tired mind, I tell you. Knuffel cuteness is so soothing...

Okay break over back to work.

Please PM me if you can help!
