Isn't that why a lot of those language apps are popping up. You essentially find a mate to practice language with. It's mostly messaging but I think some people do exchange skype details. Make another friend along the way.

How's the job hunting going River? Don't stress too much :3 Could you apply to put that course on HECS? I'm not too sure how taking courses outside of uni works.

Oh, it sounds like you could become a translator. That would be really cool. Someone would snatch you up to work for them. I did French in 8th grade and I remember it being really hard to speak and understand as it's a lot faster than you'd expect.

The course I'm looking at is a Information, Digital Media and Technology I, and then any further ones.

Job hunting is slow. Partially cause I don't look often. When I do I just have to say no I can't do these to just about every single job ad.

Just sniping here, but @River: don't just look once in a while. And don't give up by just seeing you can't do things they listed. Sometimes they are willing to teach you the things they need, especially if they don't have other options. It's worth sending your offer to any ad you see yourself doing, even if you'd have to learn it. I had no experience whatsoever, but still got a job. Don't give up so easily, keep looking, make it a habit, like every Sunday evening you'll send out a few offers if possible. Someone's bound to finally hire you

I ave alerts but most jobs going are labourers jobs or farm hand. Stuff I need certification and skills for. And just plain old that's not the job for me.

There are not many jobs going here. You can google jobs for Inverell nsw may say 30-40 jobs which is very little but then you look at them properly and it's jobs I can't do, which when I see ones I can I apply for. Or jobs in another town.

Before I moved I looked often and what not, it may have had probably triple the amount I could apply for but it was about more than triple the amount of other people who would also apply.

Right now I'm going through a slump with it all and it's kind of slowly killing my mental health. So right now I'll just reply a bit snappy. Sorry. When job searching for 7 years now, it kind of chips away at everything.

Well, if nothing else works, then I can only recommend remote jobs, or freelancing, or maybe selling something you hand make. If you need a job so much maybe try babysitting? Or dog walking? Something to make at least a little bit of money so you can save up for some course, so you could get some certificate you need for a job you'd like.

I've looked at airtasker, I haven't seen much that I could do.

In order to do remote jobs I need a car and at least have my P's for my license. I hope though next year to get some driving lessons but it'll cost a lot.

I hate kids. I'm afraid of most dogs. Sorry but it's true.

Also I have no dream job, I never have. I just looked at that course because PC's will be around for a long time and I do have a interest in them. Even though I know the IT industry is a hard one.

How does a remote job require a car? You work from home, no need for a car. x.x
