I don't understand the 2 point, how can one see an item that wasn't released? Anyways, we get it, no easy access to urls of items * *

Wait, the wishlist tags are supposed to show the whole wishlist?
They only show a random selection of a few items for me!

memoriam: I talked with starkad about the doughnight calendar, but there is nothing that can be done about it now. He just does not have the time capacity to make any changes to it now.

I am sorry that people seem so unhappy about all of this. I thought people would be happy and pleased that they can open windows multiple times and it was also extra work for starkad, since we never had that, but it seems like it has backfired and is only leading to complains.

Does it work for someone? I have no idea how it's supposed to work. Not to mention I have a weird number in the place of the user ID in my signature, so I have no idea how I did it. Srsly, not a clue I tried to post my wishlist in my material thread, but it didn't work, didn't even show wishlist so maybe I'm stupid and just can't do it right

Oh, I never said it to be done this year, I meant whenever really But if that's too much work, that's fine too. I'm not the one complaining, just see a lot of other users do, so that was the only thing I could come up with for now.

I'm actually super happy about the re-open option, I love it! I was almost ecstatic when I read the main thread

I guess people will complain no matter what you do, they just can't appreciate the effort you guys put into this site.

Yes, the wishlist on the profile scrolls. But the one in the tags I can't scroll. Or am I seriously confused here? I can't do it.

On the window topic: I really appreciate the possibility to open them multiple times! I used to click the old windows to check in past years too, but I don't find it hard to readjust. There's always someone helpful collecting the info in a thread for events like this, so if you're really unsure what you haven't opened yet, you can look it up there.
Sadly ,people just seem to complain no matter what your change, but I'm pretty sure the silent majority appreciates the effort, planning and creativity that goes into these changes. It's just impossible to make everyone happy.

I don't know. It is supposed to scroll, but maybe starkad did not build it that way? I suppose he had his reason then, though I am not sure what the point of a wishlist only randomly showing a few items would be.

Maybe he made it so that threads would not take forever to load?

Yes, I always wondered in what way that would be useful... I thought the idea was to show it in your signature like this maybe? Because I think it draws the items randomly every time you look at it, so it is a way of showing them all without actually having a long list there? Scrolling would be more useful there, too, if course, I just assumed that might be hard to implement as a bbtag?

We had users in the past get the first item in the event and manipulate the url to see future items. Like images/shop_img/dn2010/doughnight10capepre.gif to
images/shop_img/dn2010/doughnight10shirtpre.gif to see if it's anything.

Though I've always assumed that difficulty in getting image urls from our wardrobe was a side-effect of the stacking effect that was implemented.
